Biden Supporters Banned From Catholic Services, See Why…

It might not seem like a major issue for us non-Catholics, but it’s a powerful sign of Joe Biden’s toxic influence on America. The moment Joe Biden was sworn into office, a controversy arose. Should Democrats, who claim to be devout Catholics, be allowed communion—even though they embrace views contrary to the faith?

For many years (ever since JFK, really) some Democrats have touted their Catholic religion as a badge of honor. Ironic, really, considering their stances as liberals often contradicted what their church taught. It seems more likely that they were simply using their religion, not as a guiding light, but as a tool to win more votes.

That seemed to work in past generations. But today, as the left diverges from anything resembling traditional American values, even Catholic leaders are getting upset. In fact, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops voted overwhelmingly to deny politicians communion—a major rite of the faith—if they support abortion.

Now, we are learning that the first Democrat has been rebuffed by his local priest.

A Democratic New Mexico state senator who supports abortion claimed his Catholic bishop refused to give him the Eucharist over the weekend because of his political office…

“The state senator did not specify why the bishop reportedly denied him communion, but his announcement comes amid discussion of whether bishops will deny President Joe Biden communion over his pro-abortion policies,” DCNF noted, adding, “[Democratic state Sen. Joe] Cervantes himself is pro-abortion and has said that he ‘fully’ supports ‘choice.'”…

In June, the USCCB voted overwhelmingly voted in favor of drafting a document that could lead to a rebuke of publicly pro-abortion Catholic politicians. According to the Code of Canon Law, those who are “obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.” [Source: Daily Wire]

This comes as Democrats increasingly look for ways to punish and marginalize religious groups in America. You know all about how Democrats across the country shut down churches during the pandemic. They have also tried to revoke Christian groups’ tax-exempt status for refusing to bow to their radical, leftists views (particularly in the area of gay rights).

One Democrat from Congress considered a similar “punishment” for the Catholic church. It seems Democrats love the Catholic faith, when it’s helping them win elections. But when these religious leaders have something to say about how Democrats live their lives, suddenly they want to punish them.

Funny, isn’t that what a religious leader is supposed to do? I guess these “Catholic” Democrats only care about exploiting the religion for their own profit, not following its edicts.

But, in the end, that’s all that Democrats want to do with everything in our society. Every issue, every concern, every American citizen, is just more material Democrats want to abuse to get their way. Even something as sacred as faith in God, and following His principles (like protecting unborn life) is meaningless to this corrupt group who lusts for money and power.

The silver lining is that most Catholic leaders refuse to back down. We might learn about more priests denying so-called Catholic Dems.
