Did Trump Just Confirm His 2024 Presidential Run?

It’s 2022 and we are getting closer to the next presidential election. Biden is already a failure in the eyes of millions of Americans. His staggeringly low approval rating means that, if we had an election today, he would lose terribly. Many Americans are eager to send Biden a message—which will be clearly heard in the 2022 midterms.

Speculation has been swirling for months over who would carry the Republican ticket for 2024. Up-and-coming Republicans have been talked about, including governors Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem. Not to mention well-known names, Mike Pence and Nikki Haley. But towering above them all is the 45th president, Donald Trump.

Polls over 2021 showed Trump with a strong lead over possible Republican rivals. But another poll has come out, revealing the dramatic lead he continues to earn, ending any doubt over who Republicans want back in office.

Former President Donald Trump is dominating the Republican Primary in a hypothetical matchup, a Reuters/Ipsos survey found…

Overall, a majority, 54 percent, of Republicans said they would support Trump. Only one other potential candidate garnered double digit support — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who saw 11 percent support. However, that still leaves him 43 points behind the former president.

When given a long list of notable Republicans to choose from, voters selected Donald Trump. He had a commanding lead over his closest rival, Ron DeSantis, by a shocking 43 points. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to any conservative, but it will send Democrats panicking.

Much of the left’s efforts have been devoted to keeping Trump out of the limelight and out of politics. Many liberals think he is gone for good, just because he is blacklisted on Twitter. But every time Biden screws up, slurs his speech, or pushes an unconstitutional mandate, Trump gains another supporter.

Everything Trump said about Biden has come true. The Democrat has driven the economy into the ground. He opened the border. He’s bowing to our global enemies. And he wants to raise taxes and punish working Americans.

Right now, Trump looks like a genius—even to people who previously doubted him. Why wouldn’t he have the best prospects at winning the election? Let’s not forget that he won 75 million votes in 2020. Biden can boast about his alleged 81 million—but considering he has 36% approval, he’s not getting close to that number in 2024 (if he’s even running).

Of course, 2024 is still two years away. Trump has not officially announced his campaign (that might not come until 2023, thanks to campaign laws). Another Republican could emerge and take the top spot. But this poll and many others tell us one clear thing: conservatives have not given up on Trump’s America First agenda. And whoever runs in 2024 must embrace that platform or they won’t have a snowball’s chance in July at winning.
