I think, at this point, it’s hard to believe AOC is a real politician. Nothing the “Democratic socialist” says makes sense. Her signature campaign promise from 2018, “Abolish ICE” never happened. In fact, she never bothered to make it happen. The only piece of legislation she put forward was the infamous “Green New Deal,” a platform so terrible, Democrats have yet to put any of it into practice.
AOC is frequently caught out in a lie. She is routinely mocked online for her own hypocrisy. Most recently, she was seen partying in Miami, maskless, after attacking Republican-led Florida. Her rebuttal was that the people criticizing her were just mad they couldn’t date her. From all appearances, this woman is an idiot.
Now, she’s outraged a portion of her radical base, by suggesting a post office be renamed. What’s the problem? It was named after a beloved gay rights activist.
Ocasio-Cortez is soliciting suggestions for renaming the Jeanne and Jules Manford Post Office Building, the New York Daily News reported.
Jeanne Manford is considered to have been the first parent to march with their child in an LGBTQ parade some 50 years ago. She then founded PFLAG, the country’s first LGBTQ group designed to build solidarity between parents and LGBTQ children, with help from her husband, Jules.
“Is it that she doesn’t know our history?” former City Councilman Daniel Dromm (D) said to the Daily News on Sunday. “Did they not check to see who the post office is named after right now? Does she not know who Jeanne Manford was?” [Source: Just the News]
This is delicious. Democrats are asking if AOC even knows the name “Jeanne Manford.” Of course, she doesn’t. AOC isn’t a real politician, just a failed businesswoman who is exploiting race and social media to stay afloat. She doesn’t even know the Constitution, for crying out loud. Why the hell would she know about Jeanne Manford?
AOC is the perfect example of an entitled, uninformed Millennial. She expects to be taken seriously, just because she has an opinion. Never mind the fact that she is woefully unqualified for her job, knows nothing about the economy or our government, and makes a fool of herself every day.
Now, I’ll be honest. I had no idea who Jeanne Manford was, either. But I’m not a Democrat pretending to care about gay rights. But I’d like to think that, if I was recommending a name change for a post office, I would have first found out who it was originally named after. Idiot AOC probably assumed it was a white woman from the Revolutionary War (and, thus, in her mind, a racist).
Maybe this incident, after so many others, will convince voters to kick this woman to the curb.
