Jan. 6 Witch Hunters Penetrate Trump’s Inner-Inner Circle

Nothing – and we mean nothing – positive can come out of this meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and the Jan. 6 witch hunt committee.

Donald Trump Jr. is expected to appear before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot within the coming weeks.

The Jan. 6 committee invited him to make an appearance, and he voluntarily accepted, adding to a mounting list of high-profile allies of former President Donald Trump who have cooperated with the committee in recent weeks, sources told ABC News and Politico.

“He’s got to condemn this s*** ASAP. The Capitol Police tweet is not enough,” Trump Jr. texted then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows as the riot unfolded last year.

Trump Jr. has frequently criticized the committee and accused its members of harboring political motivations in their inquiry.

Earlier this week, his fiance, Kimberly Guilfoyle, met with the committee for nearly nine hours in compliance with a subpoena request last month. The committee claimed she played a key role in organizing and fundraising for the rally that preceded the Jan. 6 riot. Her appearance was a follow-up after a meeting with the committee in February went awry.

Trump Jr. gave a speech during the Jan. 6 rally near the White House Ellipse before rioters entered the Capitol. The committee has not subpoenaed him, according to ABC News.

“To those Republicans, many of which may be voting on things in the coming hours: You have an opportunity today,” he warned in a blistering speech at the Ellipse, per Politico. “You can be a hero, or you can be a zero. And the choice is yours. But we are all watching. The whole world is watching, folks. Choose wisely.”

The Jan. 6 committee has issued subpoenas against those who communicated with him before the rally, with members of the committee likely hoping to gain insights into any knowledge Trump Jr. had about behind-the-scenes efforts to subvert the 2020 election.

Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, both met with the Jan. 6 committee virtually in recent weeks. The committee had reached out to the elder Trump daughter in January to procure voluntary cooperation.

Something tells us this isn’t going to end well.
