The Russian government is no stranger to political murders.
Since the beginning of Russia’s history, its leaders have “eliminated” political enemies and dissidents they consider detrimental to furthering the Motherland.
Vladimir Putin, who cut his teeth at the Soviet Secret Police, or KGB, is a known killer. He’s eliminated numerous political enemies, often in the most gruesome ways. He’s even resorted to poisoning an ex-pat critical of Putin’s leadership.
Elon Musk warned on Sunday that he may be the next one to “die under mysterious circumstances” after a Russian politician threatened him for supplying equipment to Ukraine that is being used to fight the Russian military.

Musk supplied Starlink terminals from one of his company’s, SpaceX, that are being used to communicate and to operate drones. They’re also being used to provide internet access for Ukrainian citizens.
Musk posted a screenshot of a translated message that he says Dmitry Rogozin, Moscow’s space chief, sent to Russian media.

Musk’s Starlink satellite network reportedly fought off in rapid fashion an attempt by Russia to jam the system, something that Musk had acknowledged in late March.
Dave Tremper, director of electronic warfare for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, said late last month that Starlink was able to fight off the attack faster than the U.S. Military would have been able to and that officials could learn something from Musk.
Starlink is a satellite-based internet system that does not rely on traditional, terrestrial-based internet infrastructure like fiber optic cables and towers, allowing it to be accessed by citizens without fear of being cut off due to damaged equipment.
Musk expedited numerous shipments of equipment allowing Ukrainians to access Starlink satellite internet.
However, Musk’s cryptic tweet could also have nothing to do with Russia.
Given his newfound influence in the Big Tech sphere, the Tesla CEO is facing an entirely new challenge as he seeks to restore free speech to social media. This poses a major problem for members of the U.S. government who desperately rely on Twitter to publish their propaganda without any interruptions.
Without Trump, their stronghold on the national conversation has been immense — but not any longer — thanks to Musk. Perhaps this could be the death he’s referring to.
