Trump Dominates in Latest 2024 Poll–Beats DeSantis in Landslide

We are about two years out from the 2024 Election. Plenty has already been said about it. Joe Biden, despite what he claims, is sure to not be on the ballot. But what about the GOP? Thanks to Biden’s tremendous failures, many believe Republicans are poised to take back the White House.

But where does that leave Donald Trump? In recent days a few public figures (like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan, historical liberals), claimed that 2024 would be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ year. And, to some, it seems that fervor over a second Trump administration has cooled.

So what do the college-aged activists at Turning Point USA have to say?

Tampa, Fla.– Former President Donald Trump dominated the 2024 GOP presidential nomination straw poll at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit Sunday, Fox News has learned.

TPUSA polled conference attendees—youth activists from around the country—who they would vote for in 2024 if Trump decided to launch another White House run. The straw poll was sponsored by Turning Point Action, the affiliated 501(c)(4) of TPUSA.

Hmm… well, isn’t this interesting? Donald Trump blew the competition out of the water by getting 78.7% of the vote from this straw poll. The next figure was Ron DeSantis, who only got 19%. Nobody else got even close.

This seems to buck other recent 2024 primary polls, which suggested Ron DeSantis was gaining on the 45th president.

But this poll tells us more than others. For one thing, it was given to the mostly college-aged attendees of the Turning Point USA conference. These young Republicans are arguably more conservative and America-first-focused than their parents.

Their views align more with everyday conservative voters than the establishment GOP in Washington (which has the most RINOs than anywhere else).

It’s even more significant when you figure the people being polled are the future of the Republican Party. The youngest, brightest, and most energetic members of the movement overwhelmingly support Trump and his America-first agenda.

People like Liz Cheney should be very nervous right about now. Not only are anti-Trump Republicans outcasts within their own party, but Republicans that favor a traditional, insider approach to leadership could be on their way out as well.

Trump represents a radical departure from “business as usual” in government. Many Republicans were fine placating the left, while they got their kickbacks. But TPUSA represents Republican voters that demand leaders who actually prioritize Americans.

Which makes this poll even more surprising, since DeSantis is an America-first Republican.

This poll tells us, more than any others, just how good Trump’s chances are.

All that we need now is an announcement from him.
