New Poll Reveals Majority of Americans Oppose Protests Against Supreme Court

When the draft opinion on Roe was leaked this Spring, abortion activists went to war. Progressive supporters of abortion protested outside the Supreme Court. They quickly gathered in hordes outside the homes of conservative justices. Even now, they are mounting campaigns to hunt down our justices and persecute them for upholding the Constitution.

We’ve pointed out again and again how these kinds of protests violate federal law. It is illegal to protest outside of a court or the home of a judge, in order to sway their decisions. This kind of activity is not protected by the First Amendment, because it undermines the integrity of our justice system.

And now, a majority of Americans want the DOJ to do something about it.

The majority of Americans want the Department of Justice (DOJ) to crack down on protesting outside the homes of Supreme Court justices, new polling shows.

58% of respondents believe that Attorney General Merrick Garland should enforce federal law prohibiting protesting at the homes of the Supreme Court justices, according to polling released by Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) on Wednesday.

The polling demonstrates that both President Joe Biden and Democrats are “wildly” out of touch with Americans when it comes to the protests outside the justices’ homes, according to JCN, as well as the threats and violence against pregnancy centers and churches following the leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion indicating that Roe v. Wade would soon be overturned. [Source: Daily Wire]

A majority of Americans, 58%, want the Department of Justice to prosecute protesters who violate the law to harass our Supreme Court justices.

But Joe Biden’s attorney general has done nothing to stop radical activists from endangering the lives of justices and their families. This, even after a man was arrested for trying to break into Justice Kavanaugh’s home, to murder him and his family.

Democrats even blocked legislation in the House that would provide the same kind of security for justices as is provided for lawmakers.

Biden and his party don’t seem to care about the highest court in the land. They were not upset when someone within the Supreme Court violated 200 years of court procedures to leak the draft opinion. And they have all but urged leftists to continue their attacks against the court.

One group has even put a bounty out on justices. They will pay people for giving them a justice’s whereabouts, paying as much as $200.

A group of extremists recently stormed a restaurant, because Kavanaugh and his family were eating. They had to be snuck out the back, out of fear of what these people would do.

Is that something that should be tolerated, in the United States of America? Shouldn’t Democrats be held accountable for letting this get so out of hand?
