Fraud Manchin Admits Last Spending Bill ‘Mistake’–Will Still Support New Spending Bill

Every voter in West Virginia needs to take a good, long look at Sen. Joe Manchin. The man has claimed to be a “moderate,” claimed to want to put West Virginians first. Yet time and again, he has stabbed these Americans in the back by supporting Biden’s terrible agenda.

West Virginia is Trump country, no doubt about it. And Manchin has taken advantage of that by pretending to be a center-leaning Democrat. But when push comes to shove, he has abandoned his own state to back some of the worst decisions this failed presidency has made.

But although he admits it was wrong to support Biden’s last spending disaster, he will still support the next one.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., explained why he agreed to support a new spending package, promising that it will not raise taxes or worsen inflation, while admitting that he was wrong about a previous spending bill…

“Why should Americans believe you now when you say this new bill will not exacerbate inflation?” Baier asked.

“I’ll make sure I don’t make that mistake again,” Manchin said. “Bottom line, I’ll make sure I didn’t make that mistake again.”

Manchin also stated emphatically that the new bill will not raise taxes, even though groups like Americans for Tax Reform claim it will…

The new bill includes a 15% corporate minimum tax for businesses worth more than $1 billion, which is estimated to raise $313 billion; stepped-up IRS tax enforcement, estimated to raise $124 billion; and it will close the carried interest loophole, estimated to raise $14 billion. Why should anyone believe what this con artist has to say? He claims this new bill, which will cost Americans (at least) $433 billion will not raise taxes. Even though, the bill adds a 15% corporate minimum tax. It will increase IRS tax enforcement. And it will close an “interest loophole” that will enrich the federal government by $14 billion.

So, not only does this bill increase taxes on companies, but it will give the IRS more power to go after Americans. Hmm… do you think the IRS will use this new power responsibly? Or will it just bully and shakedown working Americans who are already paying too much in taxes?

Do you have an extra $433 billion to spare? Didn’t think so. Manchin claims this money will be taken from companies worth over $1 billion. Lies. These massive companies know how to avoid paying more taxes than they should. They will either move out of the country, taking jobs away from Americans.

Or they will simply lay off as many staff as needed to compensate for this new tax.

Democrats know this. It happens every time they raise taxes. Manchin knows this too. But he supported it anyway.

The man even claims the last spending bill he supported was a mistake. Even though he said the same things about it as he is this one.

Are we going to believe him? At a time when inflation is hurting everyone. When evidence for a recession is growing. The braindead Democrats running the government want to take more money from us.

It’s criminal.
