U.S. Senate Uses 9-11 To Attack Conservatives

Didn’t you previously know these terrible takes were going to happen? It looks like Democrats will utilize 9/11 to bring the riot at the U.S. Capitol building on January 6 to the forefront of the national debate rather than remembering the horrible terrorist acts that took place on American soil more than 20 years ago.

It wouldn’t be shocking at all if they persisted in doing this in the years building up to the 2024 presidential election. However, not just prominent figures in the activist news and left-wing intellectuals are spreading misinformation in this way. Even government Dems are making the anniversary political.

On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the terrorist attacks, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, stoked fears about domestic threats posed by those annoying MAGA Conservatives who had the audacity to doubt the conclusion of the 2020 presidential election. He mentioned how the nation came together after the attacks in an interview with Margaret Brennan on CBS News’ “Face the Nation.”

“Like most Americans, I recall where I was on September 11, 2001. Suddenly, while I was in the middle of a political campaign, the disagreements I had with my opponent seemed insignificant in contrast, and our nation came together,” he claimed.

The fact that the attack on the emblem of our democracy occurred from insurgents attacking the Capitol on January 6 rather than terrorists, in my opinion, is astonishing. It happened 20 years ago.

Warner went on to say that although there is no longer a significant concern from radical Islamic terrorism, there is still a threat from those who oppose election results, which is equal to that posed by Al Qaeda in 2001.

“I think our intel agencies has done an amazing job. I believe that the threat of terrorism has decreased. However, I am concerned about some of the action in this country, particularly the insurgency that began on January 6 and the election deniers. I wish we could witness a similar attitude of unity,” he blasted.

Warner is not the only person who compares January 6 to 9/11. In fact, several prominent lefties this year and last year, such as Black Hillary, a.k.a. Vice President Kamala Harris, claimed that the effects of both of these attacks on the nation were comparable.
