Anti-Trump Democrats Humiliated By This Announcement

The January 6 Committee threw down the towel when it came to collecting testimony from President Trump, as we reported a few days ago, dismissing the subpoena that they had issued for him to testify.

It was absurd, given that they had already presented their final report. Their time in the new Congress is also likely to be up. So they will not be getting his testimony. This only made it appear as if it was their idea, rather than that they didn’t have anything. From the perspective of Democrats, it was just another example of “walls closing in” on Trump. He’s their fixation, and they can’t seem to let it go.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) made fun of the January 6 Committee’s failure.

“I’m perplexed. The J6 Committee has withdrawn the subpoena issued to @realDonaldTrump,” she snarled. “I thought they were so close to apprehending him? I thought his detention was imminent and unavoidable. Wasn’t it true that the walls were closing in? So be it. Kids, better luck next time.”

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) replied by complaining that it wasn’t “over.”

“Don’t worry about it.” Kinzinger stated. “His time will come….it ain’t over yet.”

Yes, they’re going to do it…

This is the 16,547th occasion. They’re desperate and heartbroken.

What they’re doing is bad because it’s very wrong to use authority to try to eliminate a political opponent. We have a court system to serve justice and punish crimes, but not as part of a witch hunt to obtain the guy they want. It is the polar opposite of what the American justice system is meant to be. It’s all about Democrats retaining control, regardless of the consequences.

What’s amusing is that Kinzinger’s “moment” has arrived. He’s “over” and done in the new Congress, but they still have not gotten President Trump, despite their best efforts. So he may speak about Trump all he wants to, but despite sacrificing himself and siding with the Democrats, Kinzinger failed. The Democrats demonstrated their appreciation for Kinzinger by removing him from his position.

Nonetheless, he continues to pander to them and whatever leftist media network he expects to work for in the new year. He and Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) may phone each other and lament about losing their jobs, even though she was walloped and rejected by nearly 40 points and he did not even attempt.

On social media, some people questioned him if he’d cleared out his workplace yet. They mentioned that Waffle House was hiring. But, as we saw with the Waffle House Girl, that wasn’t a good idea because they enjoy people who really can protect themselves on their feet. Not people like Adam, who always take things on the chin.
