Presidential Candidates Have “Brain Worms”? Medical Records Demanded

In a recent interview, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated that he would make his medical records public if elected president.

The NY Times revealed earlier this month that Kennedy, an independent candidate for president, acknowledged in a 2012 deposition that a parasitic worm “consumed a portion” of his brain in 2010 and that he also suffered from mercury poisoning and “cognitive problems,” which includes memory loss, around the same time. This led to the request for Kennedy to make the commitment.

It is evident that President Joe Biden made his medical records public. Brian Tyler Cohen, who is host of the No Lie podcast and YouTuber, told Kennedy that Donald Trump had revealed his when he was president. “Will you give the American public your medical records so they can fully examine possible cognitive issues?”

Yes, without a doubt, Kennedy replied. “I am willing to share my medical records with other candidates.”

Kennedy said in the interview that he is not a spoiler for the 2024 election because only he can defeat outgoing President Donald Trump, not Joe Biden. In addition to being the grandson of the late Treasury Sec. Andrew Mellon, himself a banker and philanthropist, and Trump share a contributor, Timothy Mellon, chairman of Pan Am Systems, which further dampened rumors that he is a spoiler.

“Do you have any connection to this individual, given that he is contributing $25 million to both you and Trump, is a Trump supporter, and is currently the largest contributor to two super PACs?” Cohen enquired.

Kennedy stated, “Tim Mellon and I had two meetings.”

“Is there another motivation behind his donation?” Cohen answered.

Kennedy answered, “I welcome money from anybody.”

When the former environmental attorney was divorcing his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, the Kennedy campaign had already rejected the deposition.

He maintains excellent physical and mental health, with the matter settled more than ten years ago. Stephanie Spear, spokesperson for the Kennedy campaign, commented at the time that “questioning Mr. Kennedy’s health is a laughable suggestion, given his competition.”

Kennedy continued on social media, saying, “I offer to eat five more brain worms and still defeat Trump and Biden in a debate.”

Including independent and third-party candidates, RealClearPolitics estimates that Trump leads Biden by an average of 2 percentage points. Only offering Biden and Trump as alternatives reduces that advantage to one point for the poll respondents.
