VIDEO: Trump Issues A Plea To Patriots

The former president declared himself “the political prisoner of a failing nation” days after a Manhattan jury found him guilty in his business records trial.

President Trump declared November 5th “the most important day in the history of our country” in a video he posted on Truth Social on Tuesday.

The former president’s video was released about a week after a jury found him guilty on 34 charges of first-degree falsification of business documents pertaining to payments made to adult actress Stormy Daniels by Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump declared, “I am the political prisoner of a failing nation.” But on November 5, the most significant day in our nation’s history, I will shortly be free. And together, we’ll restore greatness to America. I’m grateful.

Following the guilty conviction, Trump told reporters that the Biden administration “rigged” the decision in order to harm a political opponent.

The former president continued, “The people will render the true verdict on November 5.”
Donations to the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Trump campaign have surged after the guilty verdict. Together with the RNC, the Trump campaign disclosed that it had received $141 million in donations in May.

This declaration followed the Trump campaign’s disclosure that it had collected about $53 million in donations just one day following Trump’s conviction.

Following the Manhattan jury’s conviction of Trump, HarrisX ran an overnight poll in which 43% of respondents said they would vote for Trump and 42% said they would vote for Biden if the election were to take place today. Of those surveyed, 14% claimed to be unsure.

According to reports, Trump’s popularity slightly increased following the guilty decision.

According to an ABC News survey taken following Trump’s guilty judgment, 31% of Americans now think favorably of him, up from 29% in March. However, just 32% of respondents thought favorably of Biden, down from 33% previously.
