Another One for Boycott Bingo – Disney Went Too Far This Time

Another Hollywood actor just torpedoed his own movie, and conservatives aren’t letting it slide. Anthony Mackie, the new face of Captain America, made it crystal clear during a promotional event in Rome that he doesn’t believe his character should represent America at all.

Yes, the guy playing Captain America doesn’t want him associated with America. You can’t make this stuff up.

Mackie’s Woke Word Salad

During the event, Mackie described Captain America as a man of “honor, dignity, and integrity,” but then threw in a curveball: “I don’t think the term ‘America’ should be one [of the things he represents].”

That didn’t sit well with conservatives, who see yet another Hollywood star cashing in on American audiences while spitting on the very country that made him rich. Social media erupted with calls to boycott the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World, set to release on February 14.

Conservatives Fire Back

Benny Johnson didn’t mince words, blasting Mackie as a “woke actor” and calling for a boycott. Dan Bongino took it a step further, writing: “Another s** movie I won’t be seeing.”*

BlazeTV’s Todd Erzen told conservatives to “mock and boycott [Mackie] as mercilessly as Selena Gomez” after she cried over Trump’s deportation policies.

Terry Schilling of the American Principles Project summed up the outrage: “If you play Captain America, you should be proud to be American… Won’t be taking my kids to see this woke garbage.”

The sentiment is spreading fast, with Trump supporters slamming Mackie for pocketing millions from Americans while refusing to let his character represent the nation.

Hollywood’s America Problem

This is just the latest example of Hollywood elites using beloved franchises to push their anti-American agenda. Marvel, already suffering from box office flops and franchise fatigue, is now bracing for yet another backlash.

Mackie might think he’s standing for some “higher” ideal, but the reality is simple: Captain America should stand for America. If he doesn’t, then why should American audiences spend a dime on his movie?

Looks like another boycott is brewing. Let’s see if Hollywood learns its lesson—before it’s too late.
