Anti-Censorship Platform Makes Joe Rogan An Offer He Can’t Refuse

Anti-Censorship Platform Makes Joe Rogan An Offer He Can’t Refuse

Take the money, Joe!

Let’s face it: Rogan made a complete ass out of himself over the weekend when he posted that sniffling apology to the Left after a video compilation emerged of Joe saying the “N-word.”

He – along with any other freedom-minded American – should know the cardinal rule in dealing with the Left:

Never give them an inch and never apologize — under any circumstance.

Still, Joe Rogan and his podcast are a net positive for liberty and offer a distinct alternative to the propaganda broadcasted on establishment “news” networks.

There’s been questions whether Spotify will keep Rogan in their employ after already censoring some podcast episodes featuring anti-Fauci scientists who have a radically different approach to the COVID nightmare. They’ve also censored podcast episodes featuring “cancelled” guests like Gavin McInnes, Milo Yiannapolis, and other former provocateurs on the Right.

But now Joe Rogan officially has another offer, giving him the much-needed leverage in future dealings with Spotify.

On Monday, right-leaning video streaming service Rumble presented Rogan with a $100 million offer to leave his exclusive contract with Spotify and join its platform instead, aiming to entice him with a censorship-free experience.

Rumble, which has billed itself as a platform for free speech and is popular with conservatives, hopes to grow and diversify its consumer base by drawing in new users as it attempts to take on Big Tech companies such as YouTube, Amazon, and other content providers

“We stand with you, your guests, and your legion of fans in desire for real conversation,” Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski said in an offer letter posted on Twitter.

Last week, the Big Tech audio giant Spotify announced they would add content advisories to all of Rogan’s podcast episodes that deal with the coronavirus. Liberal musicians have responded by removing their libraries from the streaming service.

Like petulant little children.

The controversy over Rogan has sent a signal that increased censorship is coming to podcasting platforms like Spotify, just as it has for social media sites, Republicans and conservatives say.

Spotify reportedly paid more than $100 million for a multiyear exclusive deal to stream Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, in 2020, in order to help boost its podcast division.

Rogan and Spotify have not commented on the Rumble offer.

Go, Joe! Go!
