President Biden said that Israel was striking civilian areas and threatened to cut off military support to the Jewish state if Israel targeted Rafah, the final bastion of the terrorist organization Hamas. On Wednesday, former President Trump chastised President Biden for his statement.
Regarding the 2,000-pound bombs the United States has given Israel, Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett that “Civilians have been killed within Gaza because of bombs and other ways they go for population centers,” even though Israel does not target “population centers” and goes to great lengths to notify residents that they must evacuate a given area before conducting military operations.
“And I specifically stated that, should they enter Rafah—which they have not done yet—I will not provide the weapons that have historically destroyed Rafah, to deal with the cities, that address that issue,” he continued. “We’re not going to provide the weapons and artillery shells that have been used.”
Trump attacked Biden on Truth Social, writing: “As president, I have a unique perspective on the Middle East, which led to the historic Abraham Accords, which were a tremendous breakthrough in the area.”
“Whether he realizes it or not, crooked Joe Biden just declared that he would withhold arms from Israel in their battle to destroy Hamas terrorists in Gaza. If the American captives are still alive, Hamas is still responsible for the massacre of thousands of innocent people, including infants. However, because his funders are supporting these terrorists, Crooked Joe is siding with them, just as he has sided with the radical mobs taking over our college campuses. Biden is a weak, dishonest man who is dragging the world straight into the third global war. Recall that if I had been in the White House, both the conflict in Israel and the war in Ukraine would never have broken out.
