This week, during a campaign event, former President Donald Trump said that this fall’s election day will be “Christian Visibility Day.”
Following President Joe Biden’s declaration that this Easter Sunday was “Transgender Visibility Day,” Trump made the comments during a rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday night.
Trump assured fans, “With your help, we are going to win the Wisconsin Republican primary in a landslide that will occur in a few hours.”
“And we are going to save our nation, win this state, and take home the White House on November 5th. We are going to rescue our nation,” he said. “And when Biden proclaimed Easter Sunday to be Trans Visibility Day, what the devil was he thinking?”
He went on, “Such complete contempt for Christians.” Additionally, November 5th will go by a different name. What name will it go by? Do you know? Christian Awareness Day. when Christians exhibit unprecedented numbers of attendees. Christian Visibility Day, let us name it. Alright?
This Easter Sunday is Transgender Visibility Day, Biden said on Monday, adding that he “didn’t” proclaim it as such.
Biden made this assertion after receiving criticism from Christians for declaring as much and sharing it on social media on Easter Sunday.
“I have a simple message to all trans Americans today on Transgender Day of Visibility: I see you,” Biden wrote on X. “You deserve respect and dignity because you bear the image of God.”
During the Easter Egg Roll at the White House, a reporter questioned Biden about the situation.
What does Easter mean to you, Mr. President? The reporter inquired. “Sir, tell me what Easter means to you.”
Replying, “It is time for forgiveness and people getting together and a little bit of love and no phoniness,” said Biden, who identifies as a “devout Catholic.” Communicate openly with others.
In response, the reporter drew attention to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) criticism of Biden for designating that Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility.
And Speaker Johnson remarked the other day, sir, that by designating Sunday, Easter Sunday, as Transgender Day, you compromised the fundamental principles of the holiday. He described it as disgusting and awful, the reporter claimed. How would you respond to Speaker Johnson?
“He is really ignorant,” Biden asserted. “That was not me,”
