Councilwoman Sparks Outrage Celebrating Brutal Mob Attack

If you’re wondering just how far the radical Left has fallen, look no further than Cincinnati, where a sitting city councilwoman is under fire—not for condemning a brutal mob attack—but for *celebrating* it.

Yes, you read that right.

Councilwoman Victoria Parks, a Democrat and so-called “community leader,” reacted to a disturbing viral video of a violent beatdown on the streets of Cincinnati by saying she was “grateful” for it. Grateful. That’s her word—not ours—for a scene that looked like something out of “The Purge,” where a mob of individuals beat a man senseless while bystanders cheered, filmed, and laughed.

Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a scuffle or a schoolyard fight. It was a full-blown assault. A man was surrounded by a group of thugs, knocked to the ground, and repeatedly kicked and punched while defenseless. And the crime scene? Not some distant war-torn country. Right here on American soil, in a city where elected officials are more concerned with “equity narratives” than law and order.

This is what the Left has become. They don’t just excuse violence—they endorse it when it fits their twisted ideology. Parks posted the video to her social media and said she was “grateful for the intensity.” Grateful for the *intensity* of a mob stomping a man’s head into the pavement? That’s not leadership. That’s sociopathy.

And the excuses came quick. When outrage rightly exploded, Parks didn’t apologize. She doubled down, claiming she needed to “highlight the frustration” of young people in the community. Translation: violence is justifiable if you’re angry enough. This is moral relativism dressed up in activist language—and it’s dangerous.

Let’s take a step back and ask a very basic question: what kind of society do we want to live in?

A civilized society is built on order, justice, and consequences. When public officials—especially those elected to serve—start applauding lawlessness, they undermine the very structure of the republic. They send a message to criminals: You’re not the problem. You’re the product of a system, and your violence is a form of expression.

The result? Chaos. And it’s not just in Cincinnati. We’ve seen this same playbook in cities like Portland, Chicago, and San Francisco—where progressive leaders coddle criminals and demonize police. The Left tells us that rioting is “mostly peaceful,” that looting is “reparations,” and now, apparently, that gang assaults are a form of “intensity” to be grateful for.

This is the cost of woke governance. This is what happens when identity politics replaces individual responsibility. When emotional narratives trump objective reality. And when the rule of law is sacrificed on the altar of social justice.

President Trump has made it clear since day one: law and order are non-negotiable. He’s brought back federal support for local law enforcement, cut off the nonsense from the DOJ’s activist leftovers, and restored the public’s trust in police. One of the first things his administration did was reinstate proper police funding, remove federal handcuffs on local law enforcement, and dismantle the soft-on-crime policies that flourished under Biden’s feckless regime.

Contrast that with the Left’s playbook: Defund the police. Excuse the criminals. Blame America. That’s the trifecta of destruction we’re seeing play out in blue cities across the country.

Let me be clear: there is no justification—none—for applauding a violent assault. If Parks had an ounce of decency, she’d resign immediately. But we all know she won’t. Because in today’s Democratic Party, being tough on crime is taboo. And praising violence, if it fits the narrative, is a badge of honor.

The American people are waking up. They know we need more accountability, not excuses. More police, not fewer. More consequences, not more chaos.

It’s time to stop rewarding failure and start demanding results. Enough with the moral gymnastics. Enough with the radical rot that’s eating away at our cities. We need leaders who stand for law, order, and American values—not ones who cheer on the downfall.

The question isn’t whether we’ll have justice. The question is whether we’ll have the courage to demand it.
