You can actually be grateful to the man once you get past the initial shock and outrage that someone who is a member of the House of Representatives, the branch of the government that is closest to the American people, could assert that the DOJ, FBI, and IRS are components of our system of balance and checks and that their function is “keeping this democracy in check.”
