In America, we settle our political disagreements at the ballot box, not with threats or violence. That simple truth used to be something both sides agreed on. But now, it seems the Left has thrown even that basic principle out the window. Just this week, a Democrat running for Ohio Attorney General, Elliot Forhan, made a shocking statement that should send chills down the spine of every freedom-loving American.
In a video posted online, Forhan said, “I am going to kill Donald Trump.” That’s not a joke. He said it clearly and confidently. He later tried to twist his words, saying he meant he would seek the death penalty through legal channels if elected. But let’s be honest: this wasn’t about justice. It was about hate. It was about power. And it was about sending a message to the millions of Americans who support President Trump.
This kind of talk is dangerous. It’s not just unprofessional—it’s un-American. We don’t go after our political opponents with death threats. We debate them. We run against them. We vote. But Forhan isn’t interested in debate. He wants revenge. And that should disqualify him from serving in any public office, let alone the highest law enforcement position in the state.
Republican candidate for Ohio Attorney General, Keith Faber, responded quickly and forcefully. He said what every sane person was already thinking: “That kind of vile comment makes it clear that Elliot Forhan is not qualified to be attorney general.” Faber is right. Someone who talks about killing the President of the United States—whether they mean it literally or legally—has no business being in charge of law and order.
I'm calling on @amyactonoh to renounce Democrat candidate AG Elliot Forhan's VILE comment that he's going to "kill Donald Trump." (months after celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination)

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Forhan has shown his true colors. After the tragic assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk, Forhan posted on Facebook, “Violence is wrong. F**k Charlie Kirk.” That’s not just heartless. That’s sick. While most Americans were mourning the loss of a patriot, Forhan was celebrating it. That tells you everything you need to know about his character.
On top of all this, Forhan has also faced serious allegations of abusive behavior. Reports say he was stripped of his legislative privileges and committee assignments while serving in the Ohio General Assembly. While he wasn’t charged with a crime, even his own party thought his behavior was bad enough to take action. That’s saying something.
Now, this man wants to be Ohio’s top law enforcement officer? That’s not just wrong—it’s dangerous. Our justice system is supposed to be blind, fair, and free of political bias. If someone like Forhan were ever put in charge, he would turn it into a weapon against his enemies. That’s not justice. That’s tyranny.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t just about one man. It’s about a Democrat Party that has become so filled with hate for Donald Trump and his supporters that they’re willing to say or do anything to stop him. They’ve tried fake impeachments. They’ve tried corrupt investigations. Now they’re talking about the death penalty? What’s next?
We, the people, must stand up and say enough is enough. We must defend our Constitution and our way of life. In America, we don’t destroy our political opponents. We debate them. We vote them out. We don’t use the justice system as a political weapon. And we sure don’t issue death threats and try to hide behind legal jargon.
Elliot Forhan is not fit for office. He has disqualified himself with his own words and actions. The people of Ohio—and the rest of America—deserve better. We need leaders who respect the rule of law, who respect the office of the President, and who respect the people they serve.
This May, Ohio voters will have a choice. Let’s hope they choose wisely. Because our freedoms—and our future—depend on it.
