Democrats Exploit False “Pride” Attack For Political Gain

Democrats and their media operatives never miss an opportunity to weaponize a tragedy for their political gain. Every instance of violence is immediately used by Democrats to push their agenda; never are their well-wishes authentic; just a means to publicize their Far-Left initiatives.

During the Stonewall Pride Parade in Wilton Manors, Florida, one man was killed while another was seriously injured when the driver of a pickup truck accelerated and ran them over. Not a second went by and the Democrats, along with their media cronies, falsely reported the tragedy as a deliberate attack against the LGBT community.

Democrat Mayor of Fort Lauderdale Dean Trantalis, was at the parade, claiming the truck missed Rep. Debbie Wasserman Shultz “by inches,” immediately calling the tragedy a “terrorists attack.”

“This is a terrorist attack against the LGBT community,” Trantalis said. “This is exactly what it is. Hardly an accident. It was deliberate, it was premeditated, and it was targeted against a specific person.”

There was no evidence at the time to suggest the tragedy was a deliberate attack against the LGBT community or Rep. Wasserman Shultz.

The Democrat congresswoman was nearby in a convertible preparing to attend the parade when the driver struck the two men. It is not known how close Wasserman Shultz’s vehicle was to the incident, and there’s yet to be any evidence claiming the truck missed her “by inches.”

Leftists online echoed Mayor Trantalis’ initial claims, passing blame to Republican Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis. The Florida Republican was accused for causing the accident by the Left, citing a recently-signed bill that gives legal protection to drivers who are sued for incidents involving protestors. However, this is another liberal false-flag. The bill does not give drivers free reign to mow down protestors with their vehicles, nor does it give anyone the legal right to run over participants of a parade.

Still, less than 24 hours after the event and the Twitter hashtag #DeathSantis is still trending without any of the misinformation disclaimers Big Tech censors placed on Former President Donald Trump’s tweets.

Meanwhile, it’s been determined the tragedy was not a “premeditated” “terrorist attack” against the gay community but an unfortunate accident. The man driving the truck was confirmed to be a member of Fort Lauderdale’s LGBT community; he was even a member of the local Gay Men’s Chorus.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the tragic accident that occurred when the Stonewall Pride Parade was just getting started,” a Chorus member said.

Adding:

“Our fellow Chorus members were those injured and the driver was also a part of the Chorus family. To my knowledge, this was not an attack on the LGBTQ community. We anticipate more details to follow and ask for the community’s love and support.”

Witnesses of the tragedy revealed they heard the driver tell law enforcement officers the incident was an accident.

Mayor Trantalis has since walked back his initial statements, minus any apology for intentionally exploiting a tragedy for his political gain.

Thankfully, Wasserman Shultz did not stoke the false flames, and in her statement never referred to the incident as a terrorist attack.
