Democrats Move To Arrest People Who Make “Certain Online Comments”

This week, the Biden administration was urged in a letter from three major American medical institutions to pursue prominent online influencers who promote material that details some of the drastic gender operations being performed at several facilities around the nation.

The letter to U.S. AG Merrick Garland was signed by the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Children’s Hospital Affiliation. It urged the administration to “investigate the groups, individual people, and entities” that it claimed were “trying to coordinate” and “instigating” online outrage directed at those offering the contentious services.

The letter, which Christopher Rufo of the Manhattan Institute got, said that “academic health systems, childrens hospitals, and physicians are being targeted and intimidated for giving evidence-based health care from Boston to Akron to Nashville to Seattle. These attacks have interrupted many other services for families seeking treatment, in addition to making it difficult and unsafe for institutions and organizations to offer this care.”

According to the letter, there is “elevated and reasonable worry among families, patients, and staff,” and that there have been “increasing threats via social media” for medical professionals.

“These coordinated actions pose a threat to patients and their families constitutionally guaranteed rights to healthcare.” The letter continued, “The attacks are the result of an intentional campaign of disinformation in which a small number of well-known social media users spread false and misleading information that targets specific doctors and hospitals, leading to a rapid escalation of harassment, threats, and disruption of care across several jurisdictions. Our groups have urged technology companies to take more steps to stop this behavior on digital platforms, and now we ask your office to move quickly to investigate and bring legal action against all entities, people, and organizations involved.”

According to the letter, the fury that has been produced as a result of them being scrutinized has “shaken” the “hospitals, workers, and their communities.”

The letter stated that “on top of the challenges they have already faced while working at the forefront of a worldwide epidemic for almost three years, providers of evidence-based sexual identity health care and their coworkers are suffering increasing stress and worry.” In the wake of these attacks, “families seeking care at our facilities as well as our individuals giving their care fear for their personal safety.”
