How far will Biden go to get his way? It seems like nothing will stop the “president” from forcing states to accept his unconstitutional vaccine mandate. Even if that means taking steps that will lead to the swift and painful deaths of many Americans.
It was revealed this week that Biden is restricting the distribution of monoclonal antibodies to Southern states, including Florida. These just happen to be mostly conservative states who openly defied Biden’s vaccine mandate (although their governors worked hard to get the vaccine to anyone who wanted it).
Monoclonal antibodies are a simple, cost-effective treatment that is known to quickly treat COVID infections. Many quickly based Biden’s decision as a pathetic attack on his political rivals.
But Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is not taking this lying down.
“Just last week on September 9th, President Joe Biden said that his administration would be increasing shipments of monoclonal antibodies in September by 50%, and yet… on September 14th, the announcement was more than 50% of the monoclonal antibodies that had been used in Florida were going to be reduced,” DeSantis said…
DeSantis said that he is going to “work like hell to make sure” that Florida “can overcome the obstacles that HHS and the Biden administration” are imposing on the state, adding that the treatment has saved lives in the state. [Source: Daily Wire]
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio called Biden’s move a “partisan payback against states like Florida.” How pathetic of a leader do you have to be to deny life-saving treatment, just because a state doesn’t agree with you?
What Biden is refusing to admit is that states like Texas and Florida have worked very hard to roll out the vaccine. Their governors made every effort to ensure the vaccines were available to all residents. But just because they are not mandating the vaccine, as California and New York are, Biden is treating them like enemies.
(By the way, New York’s mandate that all medical workers be vaccinated has resulted in thousands quitting, leading to a massive shortage of medical care.)
Is this how a president should behave? Like a vindictive tyrant who demands his way? Democrats called Donald Trump all kinds of things. But he would have never denied aid to a state because their leader was a liberal. In fact, Trump surged support to blue states, including mobile hospitals, PPE, and ventilators, because their cases were so bad.
Did he restrict support at any time? Of course not.
Yet we’re supposed to applaud a petty, childish man like Biden, because he’s trying to coerce states to comply with his unlawful demands.
Disgusting.
