DeSantis Gets Stronger, Gains Major Endorsement

The female governor of the state of Iowa, Kim Reynolds, has publicly voiced her endorsement of the male governor of the state of Florida, Ron DeSantis, as a potential presidential contender. She made this proclamation very prematurely, well ahead of Iowa’s imminent January GOP gathering, which will represent the first Republican presidential nominee selection gathering of the election process for any state.

“We need a leader who will fight for you and be victorious for you. We require someone who won’t lose focus but will keep disciplined, who prioritizes this country above their own interests,” Reynolds stated during a rally on Monday. “That person is Ron DeSantis.”

During an interview on NBC News, Reynolds expressed about former President Trump, “I believe he is incapable of winning. And I think Ron is able.”

The Florida gov., who was given another term during Florida’s 2022 gubernatorial election, is ranked much lower in opinion surveys compared to former President Trump.

“Why would anybody support DeSanctimonious, who is like an injured bird falling?” Trump said on Truth Social. “His opinion survey numbers are dreadful, he is completely opposed to Ethanol, and worked to destroy Medicare and Social Security. Well, the ‘Nation’s least favored governor,’ Kim Reynolds from Iowa, just said she supports him. What’s that all about?”

DeSantis and four other hopefuls will be taking part in the third GOP debate this Wednesday night in Miami, Florida. However, Trump, who has skipped the past two debates, will be holding a gathering in Hialeah, Florida that same evening.

DeSantis is scheduled to debate Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom later in a debate led by conservative media personality Sean Hannity.

The female governor of the state of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who has worked as the White House press secretary for a portion of Trump’s presidential term, has voiced support for her former superior.

“It’s no longer a question of right versus left. It is normal versus insane, and President Joe Biden and the liberals are doubling their crazy,” Sanders stated, as per reports. “The time has come to go back to the normal policies of the Trump era which formed a more secure, stronger, and more prosperous country, and that is why I am proud to support Donald Trump for President.”
