Don Lemon just dodged jail—for now—but the story isn’t over. The former CNN host, who was fired after years of disgusting comments and behaviors, acted like a proud hero on social media after a judge refused to sign off on charges against him. But don’t be fooled. This isn’t justice. It’s corruption hiding in plain sight, and the American people have had enough.
Earlier this week, Lemon was caught right in the middle of an illegal protest that stormed a church in St. Paul, Minnesota. The mob targeted the church because the pastor allegedly worked with ICE, the agency that protects our borders and enforces immigration law. Instead of doing real journalism, Lemon live-streamed the chaos. He didn’t just report it—he was part of it. He even admitted he knew it was coming. That’s not journalism. That’s aiding a criminal act.
The Trump Justice Department filed charges against Lemon and seven others. They were right to do it. What happened at that church was a violation of federal law. The protestors didn’t just shout slogans—they disrupted a place of worship and harassed innocent people. That’s not “peaceful protest.” That’s an attack on religious liberty, something this country was built on.
But here’s where things get shady. The judge who blocked the charges against Lemon is named Douglas L. Micko. His wife just so happens to work for Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison—a known leftist and radical. Ellison appeared on Lemon’s podcast after the church protest and told viewers that churchgoers were “just going to have to get used to” radical left-wing protesters interrupting their religious services. Huh?!? This kind of inside connection smells bad. It looks like the swamp is still alive and well, doing whatever it takes to protect their own.
Don Lemon didn’t waste any time after the charges were dropped. He went online, puffed up his chest, and dared the Trump administration to come after him again. He even compared himself to Jimmy Kimmel—another left-wing loudmouth who pretends to be a victim while attacking conservatives night after night.
Lemon said this isn’t about justice, but about “power.” He’s half right. It is about power—the power of law and order against the lawlessness of woke elites. Lemon thinks he’s above the law because he once had a show on CNN. That’s a lie. No one is above the law—not even media elites who hang out with BLM activists and stir up chaos.
One of those activists, Nekima Armstrong, was arrested and charged with Conspiracy Against Rights. She could face up to ten years in prison. That’s what happens when you break federal law. Lemon was with her during the church storming. He knew what was going to happen. He even said it live on camera: “This is the beginning of what’s going to happen here.”
That sounds like a man who wasn’t just watching—he was helping. And now he wants to play the victim? Give me a break.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon responded to Lemon’s rant with one simple word: “Okay.” That’s all she had to say. Because the Trump DOJ isn’t done. They’re not backing down. Justice may take time, but it’s coming. Don Lemon should think twice before planning his victory parade.

The American people are sick of this double standard. When conservatives protest, they get locked up and smeared in the media. When leftists storm churches and harass Christians, they get praised and protected. That ends now.
This is still a country of laws. Our Constitution protects free speech, yes—but it doesn’t protect violent mobs or media hacks who help them. It doesn’t protect people who trample on the rights of others. What happened in that church was a disgrace. And the fact that Don Lemon is proud of it tells you everything you need to know.
We need real accountability, not celebrity privilege. The DOJ must keep pushing forward. Because no one—no matter how many Twitter followers they have—should get away with violating the rights of the American people.
Justice is coming. And Don Lemon won’t be laughing for long.
