Drum Roll: Donald Trump’s 2024 Running Mate Is…

The success of Donald Trump’s first presidential campaign back in 2015 had little (or nothing) to do with his decision to choose Mike Pence as VP. Trump spoke to the concerns of most Americans such as illegal immigration, foreign policy, and the economy; picking Mike Pence was a strategic decision to capture the support of mainline conservatives who may have been put off by Trump’s whirlwind approach to Republican politics.

In the end, Mike Pence was a disappointment — a major one.

“I was disappointed in Mike,” Trump said before calling him “A really fine person.”

But Pence’s failure to stand up to the Democrat Deep State machine as they stole an entire presidential election will go down in history as one of the single greatest political blunders in this country. He essential put a period on his own political career — that is unless he decides to run as a RINO.

Trump’s decision to run in 2024 has been made but campaign finance laws are preventing him from going public with it. It also appears that the Former President has made a decision on a running mate — or at least a decision on who not to pick.

Mike Pence will not be on the ticket if Donald Trump decides to run for president in 2024.

“I don’t think the people would accept it,” Trump told the Washington Examiner during a phone interview from Mar-a-Lago.

The reason?

Pence bowed to pressure from the D.C. swamp to accept the results of the 2020 presidential election in which the Democrats used ballot harvesting and other fraudulent tactics to rig the results using the China Virus pandemic as justification.

Trump wanted Pence to overturn the results during the congressional certification of Joe Biden’s Electoral College “victory.” Pence, who in his capacity as Senate president was presiding over the certification proceedings, refused, explaining the Constitution granted him no such authority.

Trump continues to insist otherwise. He pointed to bipartisan talks on Capitol Hill to reform the Electoral Count Act, the law governing the congressional certification of Electoral College results, as proof his vice president could have thrown out electoral votes from various states and facilitated a second term for the Trump-Pence ticket.

“Mike and I had a great relationship except for the very important factor that took place at the end. We had a very good relationship,” Trump said. “I haven’t spoken to him in a long time.”

Now Pence is considering a 2024 bid of his own as he finds a cozy spot amongst fellow RINOs and mainline conservatives. It appears the America First vision has left him.

However the 2024 election shakes out, it will be fascinating to watch how the GOP reacts to Trump’s decision.
