Is there anything Ron DeSantis hasn’t accomplished in the last six months?
It seems that the Florida Republican is working overtime to ensure the success of his America First conservative agenda, including the signing of an anti-groomer bill that protects children from far-left gender indoctrination.
DeSantis has also taken aim at critical race theory, social media censorship, and now, most pertinently, he’s working to end election fraud as America gears up to vote in the 2022 midterm elections.
On Monday, the Florida Governor signed election integrity legislation, SB 524, ensuring elections remain secure in the Sunshine State by taking a number of key actions, including increasing penalties for ballot harvesting as well as strengthening voter ID requirements.
The bill takes several steps, including requiring the annual renewal of voter rolls. It also increases penalties for violating of election laws, and creates the Office of Election Crimes and Security “to investigate election law violations,” according to the governor’s office.
“After the 2020 election, people were saying gee, why can’t everyone else be like Florida when it comes to this?” DeSantis said during Monday’s press conference, noting that “they never used to say that.”
The legislation I signed today will continue to make Florida a leader in election integrity by increasing penalties for ballot harvesting, expanding our ban on Zuckerbucks, and establishing an election integrity unit in state government to enforce our laws. pic.twitter.com/FPez9uf1gU

Monday’s bill “builds up the success that we had last year,” the governor explained. For instance, the measure increases the penalties for ballot harvesting, making it a third-degree felony. It also strengthens voter ID for mail-in ballots.
Like clockwork, liberals have unleashed a distortion campaign used to smear DeSantis’ efforts to ensure secure elections in Florida. Citing racism (of course), progressives claim that SB 524 does more to suppress the vote than it does to secure it.
This was the same argument deployed against Gov. Abbott of Texas who signed a similar bill last year. Meanwhile, not one progressive opponent of these bills can clearly state why race is a factor whatsoever. In fact, their argument is racist in and of itself as they claim it’s harder for African Americans to obtain identification.
But why would blacks have a harder time getting an ID card?
Long story short, they don’t.
This is merely another tactic for leftist control these people use the very minute they sense a shift in power dynamics. Never comply or even accept their premises, because they’re all bogus.
