Well that didn’t take long!

Just as Americans were celebrating the end of forced masks on airplanes, the Biden administration decided it would ruin all of our fun and challenge the judge’s ruling.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle of Florida – a Trump appointee – declared the Biden administration’s airport mask mandate unlawful and held the CDC exceeded its authority.

Since the ruling liberal establishment figures and COVID-obsessed whack jobs have completely melted down, predicting doom-and-gloom followed by mass deaths. Their fear-mongering, however, is merely a tool to retain whatever’s left of their pandemic powers.

The Biden administration waited before challenging Mizelle’s ruling, giving the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) final say on whether the Department of Justice should get involved.

Unfortunately for us, the DOJ is moving forward with an appeal to the court order thanks to the CDC and their undue authority over the private lives of American citizens.

Jen Psaki says Biden is appealing the ruling on the federal mask mandate to "preserve that authority for the CDC to have in the future."

“The Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) disagree with the district court’s decision and will appeal, subject to CDC’s conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health,” the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a statement.

“The Department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health,” the DOJ continued.

Quite scary stuff if you think about it.

Meanwhile, the White House is currently doing mental gymnastics to justify the legal wranglings behind appealing Mizelle’s decision.

During a Wednesday press briefing, Jen Psaki even suggested that videos showing travelers celebrating the end of forced masking did not represent the feelings of most Americans. She called the videos “anecdotal evidence” of America’s excitement to ditch the mask.

However, Biden seems to be okay with an end to his mask mandate, even recommending that masks become a personal choice:

Let’s see how the American voter responds if the Biden administration successfully reinstates the federal mask mandate!

Something tells us it won’t end up how the Democrats hoped.
