Democrats are anticipating that Joe Biden may face an impeachment inquiry soon, creating a challenging situation for him. Beyond the well-known Biden family financial scandal, there are other grounds on which an inquiry could be justified. However, Democrats have consistently argued that there is no evidence against Joe Biden.
Recently, the House Oversight Committee released a series of findings that challenge the Democratic narrative of “no evidence.” They claim to have obtained and reviewed thousands of pages of financial records, text messages, emails, and witness testimonies, all of which they say point to Joe Biden’s “corruption.”
According to the committee, these documents and testimonies suggest that the Bidens and their associates received over $24 million from various countries, including China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Romania, between 2015 and 2019. They argue that Joe Biden’s name and influence were central to these financial transactions.
Testimony from individuals like Devon Archer indicates that Joe Biden’s brand was actively promoted in these business dealings. There is also evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement in phone calls, dinners, and meetings with Chinese associates, implying a more direct role than he has previously acknowledged.
Furthermore, the committee mentions an alleged bribery form involving Joe Biden, which reportedly required threats of contempt against the FBI Director to be disclosed. They also highlight two wire transfers totaling $250,000 from China, with Joe Biden’s address listed as the beneficiary address.
Payments directly to Joe Biden are a point of concern, including a $200,000 check linked to “influence-peddling schemes” and another $40,000 check. These payments raise questions about Joe Biden’s denials of any connection to his son’s business dealings.
The committee reveals documents from whistleblowers indicating that Joe Biden attended meetings with CEFC, a Chinese company with which the Bidens were involved. This contradicts Joe Biden’s previous statements about his knowledge of his son’s business and any money from China.
Additional concerns arise from reports that Joe Biden received direct monthly payments from Hunter Biden’s business, Owasco P.C. He also reportedly used pseudonymous emails to communicate with Hunter’s associates and others.
Allegations suggest that IRS investigators sought to examine Joe Biden’s finances, but the Department of Justice (DOJ) allegedly intervened, leading to accusations of a cover-up. Inconsistencies in Joe Biden’s statements regarding classified documents found in his home and office are also highlighted.
