Joe Biden might think he’s running for re-election in 2024. But let’s get real. The man is totally out of his depth. His own party doesn’t trust him. And his approval rating is the worst we’ve seen (even worse than Jimmy Carter, who lost re-election). Chances are, Joe won’t even be able to fake cognitive ability in two years—no matter how many drugs they pop into him.
So, realistically, the left has to decide Plan B. Who are they going to run in 2024 against the Republican’s man—also known as Donald Trump? The Washington Post scoured the DNC in search of the most viable, most likeable, most winnable candidates. And these are the best they could come up with.
The Washington Post on Sunday published a piece headlined “The top 10 Democratic presidential candidates for 2024, ranked.”
The list was, in a word, underwhelming.
Here are the Post’s top 10:
- New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
- California Governor Gavin Newsom
- New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker
- Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown
- North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper
- Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
- Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
- Vice President Kamala Harris
- Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg
- President Joe Biden
The list includes four failed candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination, a governor who faced a recall vote and a two-term member of Congress who will have been eligible to be president for just 22 days come Election Day 2024. [Source: Daily Wire]
Wow, this is pathetic. After looking at all the potential candidates to run for a 2024 Democratic nomination, these are the best they can come up with. At number ten, they have AOC, perhaps the least-qualified person to run for public office in forty years. She won’t even be old enough to run until a month before the actual election.
The rest on the list are just as terrible. That includes two people from Biden’s administration, “vice president” Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg. Both of them have failed numerous times over the last year. Both were tasked with handling serious problems, the open border and supply chain crisis, respectively. Neither of them did anything—as the problems continue to get worse.
The rest of underwhelming Democrats who have no clout or accomplishments. Figureheads who lack the charisma and leadership to unite the party or country. Yet this the best the Washington Post could find.
Odd how they left out Tulsi Gabbard, a possible moderate Democrat who actually have a good reputation among conservatives. The Washington Post only picked establishment flunkies who would bow to the D.C. swamp.
The media still doesn’t get it. Democrats are failing because they continue to ignore what Americans want. They keep trying to return us to a status quo that serves the globalist elite, not the everyday American. Americans are done with that. Biden promised to be different—and he betrayed us. No Democrat can convince us otherwise.
