According to a recent story, Jill Biden is “lashing out” at all Democrats who have urged President Joe Biden to withdraw from the 2024 presidential contest.
Due to his appalling performance in the first presidential debate against former President Donald Trump, many Democrats have called on President Biden to withdraw from the race.
Martha Raddatz, an ABC News correspondent, claims that Joe Biden’s wife is “lashing out” at Democrats who are pressuring him to withdraw from his presidential campaign.
According to ABC News broadcaster and longtime Democratic advisor George Stephanopoulos, President Biden is dependent on a “very narrow circle.”
Administration officials that Raddatz interviewed claimed that a close-knit inner circle was encouraging them that he could win and that he should not give up. Naturally, this also applies to his spouse, Jill, who allegedly snaps at anyone who urges him to withdraw from the race.
“No one can halt the clock,” said Raddatz. Age plays a significant role in this phenomenon. That’s exactly the point. This will be the main focus of the campaign. It doesn’t get better with age, like a broken bone. Thus, each time Joe Biden leaves the house, there’s a chance that he will reveal his age. He responded by saying he wasn’t as fragile as he initially appeared. You questioned him, telling him to “watch me.” Everybody is observing. And trust me, as we move forward, they will be keeping an even closer eye on us.
In an interview with ABC News on Friday, the 81-year-old president made an effort to contain the damage.
While acknowledging that he didn’t perform well in the debate, Biden insisted that it was just a “bad episode” and not a sign of severe cognitive impairment.
“I receive a full neurological test every day,” Biden said in response to a question concerning receiving a thorough neurological and cognitive evaluation. I also received a thorough physical. I mean, I went to Walter Reed for my physical examination. Yes, I mean the answer.”
Biden claimed to be “exhausted” and ill, which was his justification for his awful debate performance.
Biden informed host George Stephanopoulos that he would only withdraw from the campaign if he received a direct message from God.
“Observe. Frankly, I would withdraw from the race if the Almighty declared, “Joe, get out of the race.” The Almighty Lord is not going away. “These are just hypotheticals, George, if that’s all there is to them,” Biden remarked.
“Can you serve effectively for the next four years?” Stephanopoulos said this to Biden.
Inquiringly, Biden said, “George. It was I, the future, who assembled NATO. Nobody believed I could make it larger. I was the one who put an end to Putin. Nothing could have happened that a single person could have predicted. I was the one who organized an AUKUS South Pacific project. I am the one who persuaded 50 countries to support Ukraine, both inside and outside of Europe.”
“Well, I don’t believe that’s my approval rating,” Biden said in response to a question regarding his 36% approval rating. Our polls don’t indicate that, though.”
According to a New York Times/Siena College poll issued on Monday, 36% of likely voters approved of President Biden.
“As long as I gave it my all and did the best job that I knew I could do, that’s what this is about,” Biden responded when Stephanopoulos asked how he would feel if he continued to run and Trump won in November.
Jill Biden defended her husband’s horrible debate performance earlier this week.
“We refuse to allow those ninety minutes to define Joe’s four years as president. We’re going to keep fighting,” the first lady stated to Vogue.
