Former Secretary of State and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton routinely charged Former President Donald Trump with racism regarding his rhetoric during the coronavirus pandemic. She was the leading voice of suspicion when Trump theorized about Wuhan’s role in leaking the virus, creating the global pandemic that rocked the world and nearly destroyed the U.S. economy.
However, thanks to Wikileaks, Clinton’s arch-nemesis, Hillary wasn’t always so sure of Wuhan’s innocence.
In leaked State Department cable the former Secretary of State warned that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was undergoing concerning research that could lead to a “biological weapons proliferation effort.”
Conservative journalist broke the news, writing a damning story for Human Events that included the wire and all of its damning details.

In the wire, Clinton wrote:
“We believe it is important to focus on emerging chemical and biological technologies, trends in the trade of CBW-related goods and threats.” (CBW stands for chemical and biological weapons.)
In her cable she addressed France, stating, “The U.S. believes allies would benefit from hearing about your experience assisting China in setting up Biosafety Level-4 laboratories, like the Wuhan Institute of Virology….”
Adding
“We are particularly interested to know how China plans to vet incoming foreign researchers from countries with a concern of their biological weapons profliferation program.”
She cautioned, “The U.S. believes AG members would be interested in any information you can share related to China and North Korea, specifically information related to:
- China’s Institutes of Biological Products (locations in Beijing and Wuhan), to include overhead imagery analysis, if possible.
- Your perceptions of the CBW proliferation activities by Chinese entities.
- Your perceptions of Chinese government efforts to enforce its export control rules.”

Hillary Clinton lost it when then-President Trump began using the term “China Virus” to describe COVID-19 as it took course in America, raving the country and killings many. She immediately charged Trump with racism, despite knowing full well her concerns echoed that of Trump’s over ten years prior.

Trump bluntly shot down the accusation from the Chinese regime that the U.S. Military brought COVID-19 to the United States in an attempt to distract from their insidious role in the pandemic.
Trump said, “China is putting out false information that our military gave this virus to them. That’s categorically false. And rather than having an argument, I said I have to call it where it came from. It did come from China so I think it’s a very accurate term.”
Trump was repeatedly called a racist for using the term “Chinese virus,” and in reply Trump said, “It’s not racist at all. The virus came from China, that’s why I use the term. I want to be accurate.”
As late as the end of March this year, Clinton was still referring to Trump’s “racist rhetoric,” tweeting, “This week I spoke to @SenDuckworth about the recent rise in anti-Asian bigotry fueled by Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric, her own experiences with prejudice, and what we can all do to help #StopAsian Hate.”
