Another video captures a man boldly declaring allegiance—not to America—but to Mexico, proudly holding high a foreign flag as our own burned at his feet. “It is right to rebel!” the mob chanted, echoing the violent rhetoric we’ve heard from radical leftist politicians for far too long.

But let’s be clear: this is not rebellion, nor is it genuine protest. This is an assault on America itself, encouraged by politicians who openly call for resistance against immigration enforcement and who shield criminal illegal aliens from justice. These riots didn’t happen in isolation—they are the inevitable result of left-wing leaders who have spent years demonizing ICE officers, undermining national security, and embracing sanctuary policies that protect dangerous criminals. One of those arrested by ICE in Los Angeles was Lionel Sanchez-Laguna, an illegal alien from Mexico with a rap sheet including assault with a firearm, domestic battery, child cruelty, and driving under the influence. Yet leftist leaders continue to push the narrative that ICE agents—not the criminals they apprehend—are the enemy.

Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) didn’t mince words about the situation, stating plainly that “American flags, cars, and businesses are being burned while mobs disrupt lawful enforcement operations.” He rightly called these riots what they are: “a foreign invasion.” LaMalfa also pointed out that California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles city officials refused to act decisively, forcing President Trump to deploy the National Guard to restore order.

“This is what happens when politicians prioritize making headlines over doing their jobs,” LaMalfa stated boldly over the weekend. “Earlier this year Gavin and many Democrats were telling people to resist and fight back against ICE arresting illegal alien criminals.”
