The United States Air Force is now opening the doors of our military bases to big tech companies, offering them thousands of acres of land to build massive artificial intelligence data centers. That’s right—about 3,000 acres of land at five different bases, including over 2,000 acres at Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California, are up for grabs. These data centers have to be worth at least $500 million and need a staggering 100 megawatts of power. And here’s the kicker: these projects don’t even have to serve our national defense.
Let’s be real—this is a major red flag.
Why is the U.S. military leasing out sacred ground—the very land meant to protect the American people—to private tech giants who don’t even have to use it for national security purposes? That land belongs to the American people. It was paid for by generations of taxpayers and defended by brave men and women in uniform. Now it’s being handed over to companies that may have zero interest in defending this country?
This is not how national security should work.
AI, or artificial intelligence, is one of the most powerful tools of our time. It can be used to strengthen our defenses, protect our troops, and outsmart our enemies. But it can also be used to track Americans, censor speech, and manipulate elections. We’ve already seen how Big Tech companies can use their power to silence conservative voices, shut down free speech, and push globalist agendas. And now we’re going to let those same companies build enormous AI centers on military land?
This isn’t just bad policy—it’s a threat to our liberty.
We must ask: who will control the data? Who will control the technology? If these data centers are not tied to defense work, then what are they tied to? Profit? Political influence? Foreign interests? If the government leases out this land without strict oversight, it’s only a matter of time before it’s used against the very people it’s supposed to protect.
The Air Force says they want companies who have already built major AI centers. That means we’re talking about the same handful of tech corporations that already dominate the internet and information flow in this country. The same companies that worked with the Biden administration to silence dissent during the COVID lockdowns. The same companies that push woke politics and globalist nonsense into every home and classroom.
Now we’re supposed to trust them with military land and massive amounts of energy?
President Trump has always stood for putting America first—bringing back jobs, rebuilding the military, and taking on Big Tech. This kind of backroom deal with tech giants is exactly the kind of thing he fought against. If these AI centers are so important, then let them be run by American-owned companies with clear ties to national defense. Let them be built with full transparency and strict accountability. And most importantly, let them serve the American people—not the global elite.
The Constitution gives the federal government the power to defend this nation—not to rent out our military bases to the highest bidder. Our Founders warned us about the dangers of unchecked power, especially when it falls into the hands of those who do not value freedom. Today, that warning rings louder than ever.
The American people must demand answers. Who approved this plan? What protections are in place? How will this affect the security of our military operations? And what guarantees do we have that these AI centers won’t be used to spy on Americans or target political enemies?
We need strong leadership that defends our land, our rights, and our future. We need to put America first in everything we do—including how we use our military bases. This is not just about data centers. It’s about who controls the future of our nation. And it better be the people—not the tech overlords.
