New Poll: Americans HATE Biden’s Top Agenda

Recent surveys show immigration has become the number one priority for Republican voters while a majority of swing state voters now support constructing a southern border wall.

The polling data is also beneficial news for House Speaker Mike Johnson as he leverages Congressional budget debates to revive border security protections for US families.

A New York Times/Siena College poll reports 55 percent of probable swing state voters currently champion a border wall. Just 42 percent oppose the wall, which is effective when coupled with electronic sensors, nearby border agents, and constructive border policies.

Immigration ranks first among issues for 26 percent of Republican voters, per a November 7 Reuters poll. That 26 percent exceeds by four points the 22 percent who prioritized the economy.

In contrast, only four percent of Democrats designate immigration as the top issue, Reuters indicated.

A prior October survey showed President Biden’s immigration actions have generated majority support for a border wall.

Even GOP Senators heavily swayed by business donors are shifting towards favoring immigration restrictions amidst polling pressure.

However, the Republican Party remains far from decisively winning voters’ trust on immigration or making a compelling case for immigration limits to protect American wages and communities.

An early November poll displayed only 36 percent of Americans trust the GOP on immigration, but that exceeds the 24 percent who trust Democrats on the issue. Many voters express skepticism towards both parties on immigration.

The Siena poll showed 42 percent of swing state voters strongly support a border wall, while just 29 percent strongly oppose that policy solution.

This intensity gap suggests immigration could significantly influence voting decisions in upcoming elections.

While swing state independent voters prefer border walls by 55% to 28%, the public also exhibits uneasiness about policies seen as categorically unwelcoming towards migrants.

Surveys demonstrate hostility toward immigration has expanded recently, especially among faith groups impacted by pro-Hamas violence.

Under President Biden, legal immigration has added millions of new foreign workers — welcomed by business lobbies but exacerbating many problems facing American families.
