Radicalized Justice Department Attacks GOP State For This Ridiculous Reason

The lawsuit claims the state violates part of the Voting Rights Act.

It is the first filing challenging a state’s maps from the Biden Justice Department during this redistricting cycle. Legal experts anticipate a blizzard of litigation as states redraw their legislative lines.

However, this isn’t the first time Biden’s Justice Department attempted to interfere with the will of Texas voters.

The lawsuit notes that the vast majority of Texas’ population growth over the past decade came from Black, Latino and Asian people, but the new maps that state Republicans drew doesn’t give any of these communities new opportunities to choose their own representatives.

“This is not the first time that Texas has acted to minimize the voting rights of its minority citizens,” Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta said.

Where is her proof of that?

It’s almost as if liberals can just blurt out any fallacious statement without the burden of proving these statements factual.

Texas has had to defend their maps in court after every redistricting process since the Voting Rights Act took effect in 1965, but this will be the first since a U.S. Supreme Court ruling said Texas and other states with a history of racial discrimination no longer need to have the Justice Department scrutinize the maps before they are approved.

The lawsuit cites several congressional districts where Republicans supposedly drew tortured lines to lower the share of Black and Latino voters in their party’s congressional districts.

Meanwhile, legal experts give absolutely zero credo to the Biden administration’s lawsuit, saying each state has a right to redraw congressional district maps however they see fit, granted they aren’t discriminatory, which the new Texas map is not.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton doesn’t seem worried about the lawsuit either.

Biden and the Democrats are desperate to make ground wherever they can, knowing their majority for the foreseeable future is questionable, so it makes sense legally to attack Texas knowing their history before the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act of the 1960s.

It’s difficult for Democrats to believe that actual Republicans exist.

As a matter of fact Latinos are abandoning the Democrat Party in record numbers, especially in Texas, so Biden’s entire legal argument makes virtually zero sense.
