Over the last few months, we’ve seen Republicans in Congress growing bolder and bolder. It would have been nice to see this sooner, but better late than never. It seems that as the polls look better for a Republican flip of the House, Republican congressmen have been speaking out against Biden—and talking about their future plans. If things shape up as they hope, Republicans will have control over the House by this time next year.
Numerous Republican representatives have talked about what they’ll do to check the failed presidency of Joe Biden. Some have mentioned launching investigations into his various activities, including his family’s ties to communist China. Others have promised to expose what is going on in his administration, as it seems people other than Joe are calling the shots.
Plenty of them have been throwing around the big “I.” But it seems Jim Jordan has a clear reason to do so.
Jordan remarked, “When you intentionally allow 1.9 million people in one year’s time to come across your border, there’s no other way you can interpret this other than it’s deliberate. It’s intentional.”
The Ohio representative said impeaching the president “is something that our conference is going to have to look at closely and make a decision on, but it’ll be a conference-wide decision” if Republicans secure a majority in the House of Representatives…
“It is intentional, and the idea that they’re doing it in the dark of the night so that that the country doesn’t fully know and see what’s going on is wrong … This is deliberate, what they’re doing.” [Source: Breitbart]
During a recent interview, Jim Jordan discussed the possibility of impeaching Joe Biden over the border crisis. Citing the evidence, he believes Biden is deliberately letting in illegal aliens and moving them around the country “in the dark of the night.” Jordan says this is enough to spark impeachment talk, should Republicans retake the House.
But is this an impeachable offense? It very well could be. A president takes a vow to uphold our laws and Constitution. Well, we have laws that require the border to be secure. Biden’s administration is allowing untold numbers of illegal immigrants (some criminals) into the country. Instead of deporting them, he is bussing them to all corners of the country.
Republicans could make the case that Biden is breaking immigration laws as well as jeopardizing the safety of the American people, not to mention national security. These would be grounds for an impeachment probe, at the very least. The Constitution requires a president to be impeached over “bribery, high crimes, or misdemeanors.” It would be up to Congress to decide if what he’s doing fits those requirements.
If enough Republicans win back the House and Senate, heads are going to roll. Joe and his administration will be grilled for more than just the border. Republicans will say their victories constitute a mandate from the American people to hold Joe accountable.
Just imagine what we might learn?
