Following the announcement by U.K. police that there was no proof of terrorism at this time about the brutal knife attack on young girls attending a dance lesson, dozens of frustrated protestors rioted outside a mosque in a seaside city.
Witnesses said that during the attack by a male, seventeen-year-old wearing a hood, children fled the dance studio covered in blood. Three youngsters passed away a day after the first two were pronounced dead. There were about twelve injuries.
“He was an energetic youngster who was well-behaved and typical.”
Although they have detained the accused attacker, the police said there is yet no proof that his motivation was terrorism. The adolescent was born in Cardiff to Rwandan immigrants, according to authorities and media accounts. In an effort to determine the suspect’s motivation, investigators are going over the stuff on his devices.
Before a sizable gathering gathered outside a local mosque, some accused officials of attempting to conceal the assailant’s identity and intent.
While the police attempted to subdue the mob, they set fire to a patrol car and flung items at the cops, breaking one of their noses in the process.
Assistant Chief Constable Alex Goss said in a statement, “It is horrible to see this happening inside a community that has been devastated by the awful loss of three young lives.” “One of the most challenging scenarios our police and other emergency service personnel have ever encountered arose yesterday. They are under assault tonight as they try to keep everything under control.
Those who lived nearby and knew the suspect’s family called them “lovely” and expressed horror at the crime.
In comments to the Guardian, 79-year-old Chico Mbakwe, who taught the suspect karate as a boy, described him as typical.
Mbakwe described him as “a good boy, a regular child, who had lots of activity.” “He trained with us for around three months after his father left for another dojo I run, which is why I remember him.”
He continued by expressing concern for his grandkids in light of the current spike in knife violence.
He went on, “The son was just a typical five-year-old, and the dad was just a nice, average man.”
