The Supreme Court could be mere weeks away from striking a major blow against abortion. The court heard arguments over two pro-life laws out of Mississippi and Texas. How they rule could allow states to better regulate abortion, with some outlawing the practice entirely. Democrats, as you can imagine, are panicking. And they are taking desperate steps to save this golden goose.
Democrats in the House voted to pass a bill that codifies Roe v. Wade as law. Only one Democrat refused to vote for it—while every Republican voted against it. The bill ended up in the Senate. If it had been passed, puppet Biden would have easily signed it into law. But thanks to the filibuster, Republicans helped shut this down. And they were not alone.

The Democrats’ falsely named “Women’s Health Protection Act” would have allowed a person to have an abortion, regardless of state law. It would have robbed states from regulating this barbaric and outdated practice, forcing all of them to allow abortions. But the bill could not meet the 60-vote requirement in the Senate, meaning it’s dead in the water.
Don’t buy the left’s claims that abortion is about “protecting” women’s rights. It is about protecting their campaigns. Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, receives hundreds of millions of dollars from the government every year. It funnels millions of this money to Democrats’ re-election campaigns. That ensures these politicians will protect abortion at all costs.
Democrats are willing to violate the sanctity of human life, to get a few more bucks. And with the Supreme Court ready to rule, they hastily tried to force through a law that would undermine the third branch of our federal government. That’s how far the left will go to protect this ugly practice and save their skins.
If the Supreme Court rules against Roe v. Wade this year, it will make it even harder for Democrats in the midterms. In many states, abortion will be limited or outright banned. PP and other abortion providers will be put out of business. That means far less cash going into Democrat campaigns. Meanwhile, Republicans can ride the momentum of this victory straight into November.
That is the real reason Democrats fight so hard to protect abortion. Not because it’s right, but because it helps them win elections and get rich.
