Democratic contender for president in 2024, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), stated this week that he thinks Michelle Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee to unseat Joe Biden.
Cruz said this on an episode of his show called “Verdict” with co-host Ben Ferguson. They were talking about how the corporate media has been pushing for Biden not to run for president again.
“What I believe to be the most likely and hazardous situation is as follows,” Cruz remarked. “In August 2024, the Democratic kingmakers replace Joe Biden with Michelle Obama.”
“Michelle Obama, first and foremost, you do not enrage African American women, which is a crucial segment of the electorate that Democrats are depending on to prevail,” Cruz remarked. “However, if you choose any of the other four candidates—Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, and Gavin Newsom—you avoid the issue because the four are somewhat rivals and peers who are constantly pointing fingers at one another.”
Even though former President Obama is now in charge of the Biden administration, and he may be back in charge if Michelle Obama were elected, Cruz expressed uncertainty on whether she would be interested in running for president.
“And that should scare the living daylights out of anybody who doesn’t like where this country is headed and does not want us to continue going even crazier, in a much worse direction,” Cruz stated, adding that Biden would be regarded as a hero of the party of Democrats if he decided he wouldn’t run for re-election.
“They start carving him right away on the Rushmore of socialists, which is a metaphor,” he said. “Joe Biden would always, well, he wants to be the next Franklin D. Roosevelt. One way Democrats would attempt to persuade him to step down would be by telling him, ‘If you do this, you’ll be the next FDR; if you do this, you’ll be George Washington shortly after two terms. You’re showing the highest level of statesmanship.’”
“The Democrats are top-down, they are control and command,” Cruz said afterward. “And that’s because Michelle can argue that she’s already higher up in the Democrat party’s hierarchy than any of the other candidates. It’s the only way for powerful Democrats to get what they want without starting a civil war.”
