President Trump is not backing down. After months of chaos, violence, and lawlessness at ICE facilities across the country, he has had enough. This week, he took bold and decisive action to protect our federal officers, our borders, and our way of life. In response to deadly attacks and ongoing threats from Antifa and other radical leftist groups, President Trump has ordered troops to be deployed to Portland, Oregon, and to other cities under siege. These troops will guard ICE facilities that have become targets of domestic terrorists.
Let’s be clear: this is not about peaceful protest. This is about violent mobs attacking federal officers, destroying property, and threatening the very backbone of our law enforcement. President Trump has rightly labeled Antifa as what they are—domestic terrorists. These are not misunderstood youth. These are organized, dangerous radicals who want to tear down America from the inside.
Portland, once a beautiful American city, now looks like a war zone. For months, Antifa militants have launched nightly assaults on the ICE building. They’ve thrown firebombs, assaulted civilians, and even attacked journalists. One photojournalist was recently beaten and sprayed with bear spray by an Antifa thug. This is not freedom of speech. This is violence, plain and simple.
And it’s not just happening in Portland. In Broadview, Illinois, over 200 screaming leftists surrounded an ICE processing center. They chanted “shoot ICE” and tried to provoke a confrontation. This is the behavior of a mob, not of concerned citizens. In Texas, ICE facilities have come under gunfire, with one attack killing an illegal alien in custody and injuring two others. These acts are not isolated—they are part of a coordinated campaign to intimidate federal officers and dismantle immigration enforcement.
President Trump is right to act—and he’s doing it with strength. He has given the green light for “Full Force” if necessary. That means if these mobs keep attacking federal property or harming federal agents, our troops are ready to respond. The President is not sending a message of weakness. He is sending a message of law and order.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem requested help, and the President answered. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is now tasked with deploying the necessary military forces. This is what leadership looks like. When cities fall into chaos and Democrat-run governments refuse to act, it is the duty of the federal government to step in and restore order.
Attorney General Pam Bondi is also stepping up. She has ordered DOJ agents to protect ICE officers and arrest anyone breaking federal law. She’s made it clear: those who assault officers or destroy federal property will face serious charges, including terrorism. The FBI, DEA, ATF, and other agencies are now working together to track down the criminals behind these attacks.
Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, called it a campaign of terrorism. He’s right. This is not about politics anymore. This is about national security. President Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum NSPM-7 lays out exactly how this domestic terrorism will be shut down. The federal government is united, focused, and ready to take action.
This is a critical moment for our country. We must decide—do we stand with law and order, or do we let radical mobs run our streets? President Trump has made his choice. He stands with our ICE agents, our law enforcement, and the American people. He is putting America First, and he will not let terrorists tear down what we’ve built.
When the left pushes chaos, the President pushes back with strength. That’s what leadership looks like. That’s what America needs right now.
