Finally, someone said it out loud.
While the Democrats use every tool in their shed to take down Former President Donald Trump, a federal judge asked Democrats the most obvious question about their hysteria around ‘tax returns’:
What happens if Republicans demand your financial records?
Democrats are so oblivious, so infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome that it never occurred to them what would happen if the same method was used against them.
A Trump-appointed federal judge asked Democrats if they truly wanted to set this precedent.
“If Congress changes hands in a couple years here and a Republican chairman of the Ways and Means Committee asks for Hunter Biden’s tax returns, are we just going to say, ‘Oh, sure. You know, we’ve got to defer to Congress.”
The House Ways and Means committee sued the IRS for the Trump tax returns in July 2019, months after Democrats took control of Congress after the 2018 midterms. Then, when Biden’s Justice Department took over, it changed its position on law and required the IRS to turn the documents over.
Trump’s lawyers are arguing the politicized flop when in power exposes the fact there is no true legislative purpose for searching the past president’s personal financial records other than was required by law.
The requests single out President Trump because he is a Republican and a political opponent. Plain and simple. They were made to retaliate against President Trump because of his policy positions, his political beliefs, and his protected speech.
The committee’s lawsuit claims Trump’s tax returns remain pertinent because his businesses might reveal foreign connections.
Meanwhile, every attempt to investigate Trump’s connections with foreign governments – even pre-White House – has resulted in absolutely zero evidence pointing to any form of collusion.
The Democrats continue to search far and wide for any wrongdoing on Trump’s part, a move that sets a juicy precedent for Republican lawmakers moving forward.
Everyone knows there’s a wealth of shady business dealings within the Democrat Party, including the president’s own son Hunter Biden. So any attempt to introduce legislation or push for special privileges to peak at Donald Trump’s financial history will do nothing expect expose liberal lawmakers even further.
Meanwhile, Trump has agreed to release his tax returns once the IRS completes their audit of his financial records.
