Trump Peace Talk Breakthrough Shocks Critics Again

President Trump is once again doing what global elites and weak politicians said couldn’t be done—he’s making real progress toward peace between Ukraine and Russia. While the Biden crowd spent years throwing billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars into a never-ending war, Trump is using strength, diplomacy, and common sense to move both sides toward a deal.

Speaking from Air Force One, President Trump gave Americans a much-needed update on the talks. He said Ukraine is “doing well” and that both sides are “making progress.” He added, “I’d like to see it end,” showing his focus is exactly where it should be—on peace, strength, and putting America’s interests first.

Let’s be clear: President Trump isn’t just working for peace abroad. He’s working to stop the bloodshed, save lives, and protect American resources. Under Trump, the United States is no longer the world’s piggy bank or the global police force. He understands that endless wars do not make us more secure. They make us weaker. And most importantly, they drain the American middle class while enriching defense contractors and corrupt foreign governments.

Trump made an honest admission—he thought this conflict would be easier to solve because of his good relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. That’s not weakness. That’s leadership. A strong leader builds relationships with other world leaders so that when conflicts arise, he can pick up the phone and get results. Trump settled eight other conflicts during his first term. He’s not afraid to do the hard work again.

This war in Ukraine has dragged on far too long. Joe Biden and the D.C. swamp were more interested in sending weapons than finding peace. They mocked Trump’s efforts. They said diplomacy was impossible. But now, with Trump back in the White House, we’re finally seeing movement. That’s because Trump is a dealmaker, not a warmonger.

The President also mentioned that U.S. Envoy Steve Witkoff will soon be heading to Moscow for more talks. Trump even suggested that his own son-in-law, Jared Kushner, might be involved. Say what you will, but it was Kushner who helped bring peace deals to the Middle East not long ago. Remember the Abraham Accords? That was real progress—and it happened under Trump.

Of course, the usual critics in Washington couldn’t wait to complain. Some lawmakers, even a few Republicans, said the 28-point peace plan looked like a “wish list” for Russia. But Trump cleared that up. He said it wasn’t even a full plan—it was just a map, a starting point. That’s how real negotiations work. You start with broad ideas and narrow them down. Trump said many of those points are already being settled, and “very favorably” at that.

That’s what real leadership looks like. Not just throwing money at a problem, but sitting down, solving it piece by piece, and protecting American interests every step of the way.

And while the media keeps asking for deadlines, Trump gave a simple, honest answer: “The deadline for me is when it’s over.” That’s right. Peace doesn’t come on a timeline set by reporters or think tanks. It comes when the killing stops and a deal is done.

President Trump is showing once again that he is the only one with the strength, wisdom, and courage to put America first while helping the world move toward peace. We’ve had enough of the swamp’s endless wars. It’s time for results.

And with Trump back in charge, results are exactly what we’re getting.
