The Biden-era open borders disaster is officially over, and President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security is making sure of it—starting with a full-scale crackdown on deep-state saboteurs inside the agency.
For three weeks now, DHS has been conducting lie detector tests on employees suspected of leaking details about upcoming immigration raids, a move designed to root out traitors undermining Trump’s mission to secure the border. Secretary Kristi Noem personally ordered the internal polygraph directive on February 18, demanding that staffers submit to testing after multiple leaks derailed ICE operations.
DHS confirmed the sweeping initiative to CBS News, though it’s unclear exactly how many employees have already been tested. The agency previously used polygraphs for new hires, but under Noem’s new directive, the tests are specifically targeting classified documents and sensitive law enforcement information—likely with an eye on bringing criminal charges.
This comes on the heels of Noem announcing last week that DHS has already identified two leakers and is referring them for felony prosecution. “We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” Noem said in a video on X. “We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.”
Border Czar Tom Homan has been equally blunt, warning that leakers inside DHS have tipped off illegal aliens—including dangerous gang members—about ICE’s movements, allowing them to flee before arrests. “Some of the information we are receiving tends to lead toward the FBI,” Homan revealed, exposing just how deep the rot goes.
One of the most egregious cases of sabotage involved a leak that allowed members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to escape a planned ICE operation in Aurora, Colorado. “You’re putting officers’ lives at risk,” Homan warned. “It’s only a matter of time before we walk into a place where there’s going to be a bad guy who doesn’t care. He’s going to be sitting and waiting for the officers to show up and ambush them. This is not a game.”
Trump’s DHS isn’t playing around, and Noem has made it clear that the days of looking the other way are over. Those who betray their oath to this country and tip off criminals will face real consequences—something the Biden administration never had the courage to do.
