Following the conviction, Karoline Leavitt, national press secretary for the Trump campaign, said that Hunter’s guilty verdict is a “distraction from the true crimes of the Joe Biden Crime Family.”
The House impeachment investigation found that individuals in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, and China sent the Biden family and businesses connected to the Biden firm more than $15 million.
Leavitt declared, “On November 5th, Crooked Biden’s rule over the Biden Family Criminal Empire is ending, and never again will a Joe Biden sell access to the government.”
After just a few hours of deliberation, a Delaware jury found Hunter guilty of all three gun offenses.
Throughout the trial, multiple witnesses testified that Hunter used narcotics in 2018 while he was working on international business negotiations with his family.
One of the largest transactions involved the acceptance of funds by Biden’s relatives from CEFC China Energy Co., a company closely associated with the CCP. The House Oversight Committee in 2023 disclosed that CEFC managed the State Energy HK Limited entity, linked to payments totaling $1.3 million to Joe Biden’s family members.
The committee also learned that Rob Walker, a Biden associate, got a $3 million transfer from CEFC through the Biden family’s suspicious activity reports (SARs). Four Biden family members, Hunter, James, Hallie, and an unnamed “Biden,” split the $3 million wire transfer among themselves for a total of $1.3 million.
Hunter is a lawyer who also received a $1 million legal retainer from Ye Jianming, the CEFC’s chairman, in 2017. Additionally, Ye Jianming gifted Hunter a huge diamond in February 2017, estimated to be worth $80,000.
Here, here, here, here, and here are additional details regarding some of the Biden family’s transactions.
Tax allegations pertaining to the Biden family business are still pending against Hunter in California. The trial is scheduled for September.
