President Donald Trump is not backing down on his vision for the future of Gaza—and his latest interview just made it crystal clear: the U.S. will have a long-term ownership stake in the war-torn region.
During an exclusive sit-down with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Trump laid out his plan for a full-scale reconstruction effort in Gaza funded by Middle Eastern allies—but with a major twist.
“There’s practically no building that’s livable in the whole Gaza Strip,” Trump said. “I say we go in, we knock them all down. We just create some—no more Hamas. There’s no Hamas there. There’s nobody there. We move them into beautiful areas of the Middle East.”
A Vision for Gaza’s Future—Without Hamas or the Old Order
Trump envisions a total reset for Gaza—relocating Palestinian residents to nearby countries, while the U.S. and its allies rebuild the strip into a modernized, secure region.
“We’ll build beautiful communities for the 1.9 million people,” Trump said. “Safe communities… a little bit away from where they are, where all of this danger is.”
But the real bombshell? Trump sees U.S. involvement as more than just humanitarian aid—he’s talking about ownership.
“In the meantime, I would own this. Think of it as a real estate development for the future. It would be a beautiful piece of land.”
Middle East Allies Pushing Back—But Trump’s Holding the Cards
Not surprisingly, Jordan and Egypt aren’t thrilled about Trump’s mass relocation proposal.
Jordan’s King Abdullah II has openly rejected any forced movement of Palestinians into his kingdom. He is set to meet with Trump at the White House on Tuesday to discuss the plan.
Egypt has called an emergency Arab summit to address what it calls “new and dangerous developments” in the Palestinian issue.
But Trump remains confident that he can get these countries on board—because the U.S. holds the purse strings.
“We give them billions of dollars in aid,” he pointed out, suggesting financial leverage will bring them to the table.
No More Hamas, No More Chaos—Trump’s Strategy in Action
Trump’s bold vision isn’t just about rebuilding—it’s about removing Hamas completely and ensuring that Gaza never again becomes a launchpad for terror against Israel.
With Israel’s military operation still ongoing, Trump’s post-war blueprint is now the biggest question looming over the region.
And if history has taught us anything, Trump gets what he wants—especially when it comes to making deals.
