The world has gone whacky, it seems.
There was a time when leftists were considered rabble-rousers in the eyes of the law. They were the ones protesting on college campuses, taunting the police, and generally being public nuisances for the cause of social justice.
Nothing has changed in that regard, the only difference being the way in which governments and law enforcement agencies view the left. As a matter of fact, the government and all its law enforcement agencies have been swallowed by the left and have now begun attacking conservatives as a result.
We witnessed this at the height of the China Virus pandemic when police forces across the world went on a rampage arresting anti-lockdown protestors as liberals attempted (and in some cases succeeded) to strip us of our civil liberties.
Conversely, Black Lives Matter and Antifa protests were allowed to proceed and police officers largely ignored mass rioting in major American cities.
Well, the attack on conservatives continues as one of America’s most influential conservative journalists was just detained in Switzerland.
Jack Posobiec was briefly surrounded by Swiss police Monday at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Various videos were posted to social media that showed Swiss police encircling Posobiec as he ate with several other individuals at the Migros Restaurant, as seen in videos shared both by Posobiec and Benny Johnson.

“Excuse me, can I ask you why you’re detaining this journalist?” reporter Savanah Hernandez asked one of the officers surrounding Posobiec.
A spokeswoman for the Swiss police claimed cops were not targeting Posobiec and were merely conducting routine police checks. Security is currently heightened given the massive influx of influential business, political, and social leaders present in the Swiss city.
The supposed spokeswoman was asked if there was a reason why Posobiec was being detained.
“Of course there’s a reason,” the Swiss police spokeswoman said, adding, “We must have a reason to control somebody.”
When asked what the reason was for Posobiec detainment, the spokeswoman refused to respond.
The conservative journalist was not handcuffed or arrested and was not taken into any physical detainment in any of the footage shared online thus far.
