Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is throwing down the gauntlet against a rogue school board in her district that just spit in the face of federal law—and in the face of every American girl who deserves a fair shot in sports.
The Saratoga Springs City Board of Education voted on March 27 to let transgender students compete in girls’ sports and use locker rooms based on “gender identity.” But there’s just one problem: that move directly violates President Donald Trump’s executive order “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” not to mention Title IX, which is supposed to protect biological females in education.
Rep. Stefanik isn’t standing by quietly. She fired off a letter this week to Education Secretary Linda McMahon demanding an immediate federal investigation into what she calls a “blatant violation” of federal law and Trump’s binding executive order.
“Allowing biological males into girls’ sports and locker rooms is in direct violation of Title IX and President Trump’s executive order,” Stefanik wrote. “Our daughters should not be forced to compete against biological men in competitive sports or share a locker room with them. Period.”
The Saratoga district could lose millions in federal funding—over $3 million annually—if it refuses to comply with federal mandates. That’s the kind of pressure Stefanik wants to apply, and it’s the kind of accountability that’s long overdue.
This isn’t just about sports. It’s about whether local school boards can ignore the rule of law, trample parental rights, and force young girls into uncomfortable—and in many cases unsafe—situations under the guise of “inclusion.”
The left’s obsession with gender ideology is now undermining decades of hard-won protections for women and girls. While radical activists cheer on the erasure of biological sex in sports, Stefanik and President Trump are doing what Joe Biden never did—standing up for the rights of women.
“This far-left woke ideology has no place in our communities,” Stefanik declared, and she’s absolutely right. President Trump signed Executive Order 4201 just months ago, clearly directing schools that receive federal funds to separate sports by biological sex. Schools that defy this order are breaking the law, plain and simple.
Stefanik, who has also been leading the charge against antisemitism and radicalism on elite college campuses, is proving once again she’s one of the fiercest warriors for America’s families in Congress. Whether it’s Harvard’s antisemitic rot or Saratoga’s gender extremism, she’s not afraid to call out the Left’s dangerous double standards.
She’s also no stranger to fighting back against the Ivy League hypocrisy machine. A Harvard graduate herself, Stefanik has held her alma mater’s feet to the fire for allowing anti-American and anti-Semitic rhetoric to fester under the guise of “diversity.” Her recent calls to strip funding and tax-exempt status from Harvard prove that when she smells institutional rot, she goes for the jugular.
With the backing of Trump and the Department of Education now firmly behind her, Stefanik’s call for a federal civil rights probe into Saratoga Springs could set the stage for a nationwide reckoning.
America’s girls deserve locker rooms where they feel safe, sports fields where they can compete fairly, and school policies that put biology and common sense over radical social experiments.
If Saratoga Springs thought it could quietly slip this policy through while parents weren’t looking—they thought wrong.
President Trump is back. Elise Stefanik is fighting like hell. And if the radicals running our public schools don’t wake up, they’re going to learn the hard way what it means to violate federal law under a Trump administration.
