Zelenskyy Gov’t Rocked by Massive Corruption Scandal

The truth is finally spilling out of Ukraine, and it’s not pretty. A $100 million corruption scandal has rocked President Zelenskyy’s government, and yet, strangely, the media class that once told us Ukraine was a model of democracy has gone mostly silent. Even more surprising, President Trump has not yet commented publicly on the matter. But let’s be clear: this is exactly the kind of corruption President Trump warned us about years ago.

Back in 2019, when President Trump was questioning why America kept sending hundreds of millions in aid to a country with deep-rooted corruption, the media and the Democrats screamed “impeachment.” Remember that phone call? All Trump did was ask questions about Joe Biden’s shady dealings in Ukraine—like why his son Hunter was raking in $50,000 a month from an energy company while Joe was Vice President. Well, now we’ve got confirmation that Ukraine’s corruption problem is not only real—it’s massive.

This latest scandal is centered around Ukraine’s energy ministry. After a 15-month investigation, Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies uncovered a bribery scheme involving kickbacks from state energy contracts worth around $100 million. Contractors were allegedly forced to pay 10 to 15 percent of their deals just to keep the business. That’s your taxpayer money, folks. Money that was supposed to go toward helping Ukraine survive a war with Russia—laundered and stolen by greedy politicians and their pals.

At the heart of it all? Timur Mindich, a close friend of Zelenskyy himself. Mindich isn’t just some random player—he co-owned Zelenskyy’s old production studio and served as an advisor to the energy ministry. Investigators say he ran the whole operation. Former Energy Minister German Galushchenko and his successor Svitlana Grynchuk have both resigned. Mindich fled the country just hours before his house was raided. That tells you everything you need to know.

This is a government that has received over $175 billion in U.S. aid since the war began in 2022. Americans are being told to tighten their belts while we ship billions overseas to bankroll a corrupt foreign regime. Meanwhile, our own border is wide open, our energy prices are still too high, and families are struggling to make ends meet. Where is the accountability?

President Trump has been working hard to bring peace to the region. Unlike the globalist elites who want endless war, Trump wants to end the bloodshed—without funding corrupt oligarchs. That’s why he was right to question Ukraine’s integrity from the beginning. He knew what was really going on while the rest of Washington played dumb—or worse, played along.

Zelenskyy hasn’t been directly tied to the scandal—yet. But let’s not forget, this is the man who ran on ending corruption. He promised to clean house, but now it looks like the rot is right at his doorstep. He even tried earlier this year to grab more control over Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies—only backing off after public backlash. Now we know why. It wasn’t about reform; it was about control.

Some of the stolen funds were meant to buy equipment to protect Ukraine’s power plants from Russian missile strikes. That’s right—while Ukrainians are living with just five to eight hours of power a day, corrupt officials were pocketing money meant to defend those energy systems. That is not just theft. That is betrayal.

The European Union is now warning Ukraine that this kind of corruption could destroy its chances of joining the EU. Meanwhile, American taxpayers are still footing the bill. For what? So more crooks can get rich while Ukrainians suffer and Americans get ignored?

It’s time to stop pretending that Ukraine is some pillar of virtue. It’s time to start asking hard questions about where our money is going, who is getting rich, and how much longer we’re willing to support a government that can’t even keep its own ministers honest.

President Trump was right to be skeptical. And now the facts are proving him right again.
