MAGA Lawmakers Return To Twitter And Liberals Can’t Handle It

Twitter has reinstated Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) personal account just days after reinstating former President Donald Trump’s account. As one might expect, liberals are already complaining. The social media platform had previously suspended Greene’s personal account for allegedly breaking its COVID-19 disinformation policy. However, she was still permitted to tweet from her official page.

Greene celebrated her ban’s reversal with a tweet on Monday, urging her supporters to start following her on her own account.

This is the latest in a long line of high-profile, previously banned profiles resurrected by Twitter CEO Elon Musk. As you can expect, there was much gnashing of teeth and wailing on the left side of the political spectrum.

“Flood of nuts returned to Twitter,” said Mike Sington, a senior executive at NBC Universal. “Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal account has been restored.”

According to Max Burns of The Daily Beast, this is just one more sign that Twitter is leaning toward the Republicans.

Greene has been labeled a “Parkland conspiracy theorist” by Eric Hananoki of Media Matters. He stated:

“Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Sandy Hook and Parkland conspiracy theorist who also regularly appears on Alex Jones’ show, had her own Twitter account reactivated.”

Musk has come under fire for reinstating the accounts of controversial people. He stated soon after taking over the corporation that he didn’t believe in “lifetime bans,” much to the chagrin of the censorship-obsessed radical left.

The CEO also announced the formation of a content monitoring council to assist him in revamping the company’s application of its rules of service. He also told advertisers that, while he wants to encourage free speech on the site, it will not become a “free-for-all hellscape.”

Twitter has not yet specified how it would handle content moderation. Despite some people’s misgivings, this is just another sign that the prejudiced censorship seen before his takeover may be a thing of the past.
