Top Republican Brutally Mocks Biden’s Dumb Energy Plans

Louisiana Republican Sen. John Kennedy compared President Biden’s “America-Last” energy policy to roadkill that Kennedy’s dog used to bring home and hide beneath his porch.

Kennedy appeared on “Fox & Friends,” where co-host Ainsley Earhardt mentioned the controls put in place by the Biden admin. “to avoid any methane leaks here at home.” The Biden Govt’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) submitted a new rule on Monday to replace the BLM’s current standards for venting and flaring, noting that it would cost the gas and oil industry approximately $122 million each year.

Earhardt noted that the Biden administration had no objections to oil extraction in socialist-ridden Venezuela, a country opposed to the US.

On Saturday, the Biden Treasury Dept. announced that US sanctions against Venezuela would be eased, allowing Chevron to restart “limited” energy production within the country. “We’ve basically chronicled around 125 specific steps that this government and the Democratic Congress have taken to slow down or stop production of oil in America,” American Energy Alliance President Tom Pyle said on Tuesday. He advocates an ‘America last’ energy policy.”

“What are your thoughts about that?” Earhardt inquired about the challenges the Biden administration places on American oil firms. “It’s more laws for us and permitting Venezuela to drill with all of this tyranny.”

“Ainsley, I used to own a beagle called Roger,” Kennedy said, describing Biden’s energy policy. And Roger was a rogue. Roger would disappear every two weeks or so. He’d always return, but half the time he’d be dragging roadkill that he’d stash beneath my back porch. President Biden’s energy plan resembles something Roger kept underneath my back porch.”

“It is a truth that America has the greatest, strongest economy in human history; we cannot operate it without fossil fuels, not now, not tomorrow,” Kennedy said. “It is also a truth that, because of technological reserves, America can produce every drop of gas and oil we require and have enough to offer to our neighbors.”

“That presents a challenge for President Biden since he has embraced the awakened, or crazy wing, of the Democratic party, and woke ideology says we must get rid of gas and oil in the United States,” he continued.

“So President Biden has evolved a new energy policy, and it is this: Rather than producing our own oil and gas in America at a lower cost, we are going to purchase oil from foreign nations that hate us in this instance, Venezuela — in order for those foreign countries to have more funds to purchase weapons to attempt to kill us,” he summarized. “This is a moron-athon.”
